Spending tens of thousands casually.
That's certainly quite expensive.
A few minutes later.
Dirk Carter saw a uniquely designed eight-story building standing on Crestwood Avenue.
He's actually seen this building a few times before.
However, he truly didn't know that such a majestic building was merely a nightclub.
Dirk Carter is not someone who's never seen the world.
He's been to Benson Caldwell's "The Flower House."
He's also experienced The Marriott International Club owned by Madame Hua.
These two buildings are already quite luxurious and top-notch.
But compared to The Empyrean Palace before him, they're nowhere near as impressive.
The entire building resembles the design of Maiana's "White Palace."
The exterior of the building features dark marble as the base, with a surface smooth as a mirror.
On the marble, intricate golden lines are embedded, which shimmer slightly under the sunlight, exuding an indescribable aura of elegance.
At the entrance, there's a gigantic bronze-gilded door, engraved with a depiction of a palace above floating clouds, presumably the logo of "The Empyrean Palace."
It carries the charm of classical aesthetics, but without losing the clean and grand feel of modern design.
Two towering gold-plated statues stand impressively on either side of the door.
The top of the nightclub is designed as a massive dome.
As a nightclub.
It's certainly labeled with a sign.
But The Empyrean Palace doesn't have one.
At first glance.
It seems just like a building.
Anyone unaware wouldn't know what's inside.
Beside the building is a massive parking lot.
Those luxury cars seen on the road lined up to enter.
Numerous waiters in vests and shirts weave through, guiding guests to enter through the main entrance.
The entrance is bustling with people.
Both those intrigued watching the spectacle and quite a few wealthy individuals in suits exchanging pleasantries.
Truly a rare grand event.
"Under such circumstances, it's unlikely any high-ranking officials would come over, right."
Dirk Carter muttered.
When the driver heard this, he turned around and said, "Well, you might not know this, but the wealthy definitely enter through the main entrance. Those officials who can't show their faces wouldn't dare use the main entrance. Look over there, there's an underground parking entrance for those who want to be discreet."
Dirk Carter glanced over.
Sure enough.
There was indeed another underground parking entrance not far from the parking lot.
Several people wearing security uniforms guarded the entrance.
Some vehicles that didn't appear as high-end were being inspected and then slowly moved into the underground parking lot.
This scene.
Stirred Dirk Carter's curiosity.
After getting out of the car.
Dirk Carter stood by observing for a while.
Waiting until the majority of people had entered.
He then leisurely sauntered towards the entrance.
He had just stepped out.
When someone nudged him.
Being completely unprepared, combined with the force being strong, Dirk Carter staggered, losing balance, and collided into an elderly man watching from the side.
The old man, due to the unexpected collision, fell to the ground.
Unable to help but groan.
"Sir, are you okay?"
Dirk Carter quickly went to help the old man up.
The old man cast a reproachful glance at him.
Saying, "You young man, why so reckless?"
Dirk Carter couldn't hold back his anger.
He turned around abruptly.
Only to see two men resembling bodyguards escorting a tall, skinny young man taking a shortcut towards them, causing him to collide with this person due to one of the bodyguards.
"Wait a minute!"
Dirk Carter shouted at the trio.
The young man in the center heard the voice.
He turned his head towards Dirk Carter.
He lowered the sunglasses on his nose, widened his eyes, and looked at Dirk Carter, asking, "Are you calling me?"
"Apologize!"
Dirk Carter said.
The young man was stunned.
He pointed at himself.
Asked, "You're asking me to apologize to you?"
"Isn't it appropriate to apologize after bumping into someone?"
Dirk Carter asked.
The young man grinned.
Nodded and said, "Yes, yes, I should apologize, I should apologize."
After saying this.
He walked up to the old man still sitting on the ground.
Suddenly snatched a bottle of mineral water from a passerby's hand.
Unscrewed the cap and held it above the old man's head.
With a disdainful glance at Dirk Carter.
Then tilted the bottle.
The liquid inside cascaded through the air, pouring directly onto the old man's head.
After that.
He crouched down.
In the old man's frightened gaze, he patted his shoulder and asked, "Old man, do you accept my apology?"
"Accept, accept, I accept."
The old man seemed to recognize who this person was.
Nodded repeatedly at him.
The young man felt quite proud.
Stood back up.
Shrugged at Dirk Carter.
He said, "See, I already apologized, and he accepted it."
Arrogance is something.
But never seen such arrogance.
Just as the young man was about to turn and leave.
Dirk Carter made a move.
He reached a hand towards the young man.
As fast as lightning.
His two bodyguards flashed out, blocking Dirk Carter's hand.
"Buddy, if it were normally, I'd take you on, but today I don't have time, so I won't play with you, just steer clear of here the next time, or you'll regret it when I feel like entertaining myself."
After speaking.
He leisurely started crossing the street.
Dirk Carter still wanted to catch up.
The old man who had fallen grabbed him.
Hurriedly said, "Young man, let it go, I'm fine, I'm fine, don't you dare provoke him, or you'll be in trouble."
"Sir, you know him?"
Dirk Carter asked.
The old man furrowed his brows.
He said, "There aren't many folks in Veridia City who don't know him, he's called T-Rex, nickname Brother Long, he's the son of our city's deputy mayor, a regular at The Empyrean Palace."
The deputy mayor's son?
No wonder he's this arrogant.
Dirk Carter looked at the drenched old man.
Said, "Alright, just wait here, I'll be right back."
Upon saying this.
He chased after him quickly.
At this moment.
The T-Rex had already reached the entrance of The Empyrean Palace, ready to ascend the steps.
Dirk Carter also arrived.
He shouted sternly, "You guys, stop right there."
"T-Rex" turned his head.
Seeing Dirk Carter again.
He furrowed his brows.
Asked disdainfully, "You damn, can't get enough, I've been in a good mood today and didn't mess with you, and you don't know when to quit, huh?"
After saying this.
He raised his hand.
Pointed at Dirk Carter.
Said, "Don't ruin my mood, get lost and go as far as you can!"
He dropped this line.
Just as he took another step.
Dirk Carter snorted coldly, said, "You're an ungrateful bastard, if your father saw what a jerk you are, he should have shot you against the wall."
T-Rex stopped his movement.
He slowly turned around.
Looked at Dirk Carter.
Asked, "Are you looking for death?"
