The storm stirred up the hottest flames, swirling and merging together, forming two mighty Flame Storms, one on the left, one on the right, spiraling swiftly towards the Thousand-Spine Rock Lizard.
Even the air became hot because of the scorching heat wave created by the Flame Storm, and the thick snow began to melt at an astonishing speed, causing the branches that were originally weighed down by heavy snow to spring upwards.

Watching the Flame Storm sweep in from both sides simultaneously, the deepest, most primitive fear surged within the Thousand-Spine Rock Lizard.
It did not fear the flames, only the Pet Beast spewing them.
The air grew increasingly scorching, and the Thousand-Spine Rock Lizard suddenly lowered its head, its countless legs moving simultaneously, digging a deep pit at a speed beyond the eye could follow, its enormous body diving in, vanishing underground just as the Flame Storm arrived.

It was powerless to evade, merely letting spark after spark strike its body.
The dauntingly massive body soon ignited in golden flame, continuously scorching, the terrifying impacts causing the Thousand-Spine Rock Lizard’s back to sink, collapsing to the ground.
No one knew how much time had passed, the sparks had vanished, the perpetual roar continued, and black smoke drifted in the air.
Looking ahead, the charred Thousand-Spine Rock Lizard lay on the ground, resembling a giant charred beetle.
