Beatrice POV
When I got back to my place, I couldn't help but look at Storm's office. I didn't know what face I was going to show to him because of what I said about his parents, that's why he reacted like that.
Later, the door opened and I saw Kiara, I noticed the swelling in her eyes looked like she had just recovered from crying. I bowed because I didn't know what to say.
"You can go home early Bea, my brother is no longer here and has left," she said as she approached me.
"Kia, I'm sorry for what I did," I said.
She looked at me and smiled. "I understand because you don't know anything about what happened. I just hope it will not happen again Bea because I can't bear to see my brother hurting. And another thing I can reassure that he will not fire you completely and there's nothing I can do about it because he is still the one to decide,"
I smiled at her, I can understand if he ever gets rid of me because he didn't like me in the first place and my guilt towards him just increased. "Has he come home? I want to talk to him personally to apologize for what I said. What I did was shameful." I said to her,
"He went to his condo. You know where it is because you've been there once," she answered.
"Alright thank you, Kiara," I said and smiled.
"I have to go now Bea because Nigel is already downstairs,"
I nodded and waved my hands until she entered the elevator.
I just finished the work that had to be done and then arranged my things, Kiara said that I can go home now because my boss left already. When I got out of the building, I went home to get dressed.
I plan to bring him food, but of course, it won't be home-cooked. I'll buy it from a restaurant.
I finished at five o'clock, I'm sure it'll make me late because I'm still going to buy food, but I'm fine, I just really want to talk to him and apologize. I took my phone and wallet then put them in a small sling bag and told mom that I had something important to go to. I'm happy because I can see that my mother is getting back to normal and that her condition is getting better.
I went to a restaurant and buy food, I also called Kiara to ask what's his brother's favorite. I also found out that Sir Nigel was the son of one of their parents' best friends because I didn't look at him too much so I didn't notice that he resembled Sir Dark.
It also took me almost an hour before I could buy food because there were so many people and I was caught up in the rush hour so it was difficult for me to get a taxi again.
When I got to the building where Storm's condo is, I immediately entered inside. It's almost seven o'clock, probably because it's time for dinner. I hope he didn't leave, but Kiara said that her brother is there.
I got on the elevator and hit the floor where Storm's unit is. I don't understand my boss because they already have a big house but why do they have to buy a condo? But I also think that maybe they use it when there are no emergencies or when they just don't want to go home.
Later, the elevator rang to signal that I had arrived. I went out as soon as it opened. I walked straight to my boss's unit and when I was in front of his door I swallowed several times because I was so nervous, I still don't know what to say to him.
I sighed a few times before deciding to knock on his door. I knocked several times but no one opened the door. Is Kiara sure that her brother is here?
I repeated the knocking a few times because maybe the person inside didn't hear but a few minutes passed and still no one opened so I just sighed and was about to turn around when it suddenly opened.
"What are you doing here?" I hear Storm's voice.
I looked at him. "S-sir." I stammered.
"If you don't have to say, leave!" he said emphatically and was about to close the door and I quickly stopped him.
"W-wait," I shouted.
He didn't say anything but just stared at me seriously so I couldn't help but swallow. He is blessed because he is so handsome.
'Hey, Girl! Stop fantasizing about your boss! You didn't come here because of that but to apologize, bitch!" - I scolded myself.
"I brought food," I said smiling.
"I don't need that, I have money to buy food. Go away,"
"Hey, wait Storm, I just wanted to talk to you, that's why I came here," I said.
"I don't want to talk to you Bea," he said seriously, I noticed the swelling of his eyes and it looked like he had been drinking because his eyes were watering.
"Sir, please." I persisted and went inside.
As soon as I entered, I saw the scattered wine bottles on the sofa.
"You are not allowed to enter my unit Bea!" he shouted at me.
"I-I know but I can't sleep when I hurt someone Storm, I know the mistake I made,"
"You already know your mistake, right? So leave!"
"I will also leave after talking to you," I said.
"I'll give you five minutes to say what you wanted to say then after that you leave." I smiled because I finally got him to agree.
