"How can he be so perfect...a doctor?"I said out loud as I paced back and forth in front of the closed door. I knew I was being ridiculous but I just couldn't wrap my head around what I was told. It was hot when Victor was a great businessman. That was acceptable and nothing new considering the man was a hot man who was successful with his business but he was a doctor too. A hot doctor who hid his great talents. If they allowed the man to help the lady give birth then I swore he was the best. He had formidable skills hence I grew afraid.
Victor was already powerful, his company was the best not just that but with my recent research on him, I knew he was some billionaire who had few words to say. He was grumpy, controlling as fun,d above all, he was hot handsome very successful which was a perfect blend for trouble

"This isn't fair okay" I whined and soon stopped pacing and looked at the two men standing by the door with serious expressions. I guessed they thought I was insane to be talking to myself but I couldn't sit down and eat...well I already ate what the men got for me which I appreciated but Victor was so grumpy so arrogant although he didn't show it and now he was in that room acting like a hero which would make people love him even more
"He's everything I want to become...my role model..well not the grumpiness that's unacceptable" I continued saying, waiting for him to finish. I was already given something else to wear not sure why but these people had been treating me like a big deal. Yes, I was Victor's surrogate but why were they addressing me with so much respect?
I felt awkward when they bowed to me but I brushed such thoughts off and waited, it had been ages since Victor had gone in there. Was he a good doctor or maybe he was a phony? What if he made a mistake if he did then…
"What!"I didn't even finish my sentence when I heard a loud cry and it was a baby's cry. My eyes widened in shock that I was overwhelmed with strange emotions.
"Please let me through, "I said to the men to let me in. I wanted to see the lady, I wanted to know if she was okay but the men blocked my way surprisingly
"No can't do Miss... boss's orders, "one of them said and I moved a step back not sure why they were acting so grumpy like Victor. Yes, I understood he was the boss but the lady was my responsibility. She didn't come with anyone hence I had to go in there and see her. Before I could tell them to move, the door opened and I quickly rushed there hoping to get a little glimpse but the person who emerged was none other than Victor. I could hear several voices coming from inside. Victor looked tired as if he had been running a marathon even thorough he looked good but his expression wasn't so friendly
"Sir I…"I started saying but Victor stuck his hand out cutting me off before I could finish my sentence. I flinched when he turned around to face me and his gaze was frightening. I thought after doing a good deed he would be less grumpy but his expression was murderous that I moved backward and kept my head down. I felt fear like always
"Take her to the car now and drive her home" he gave his orders in a cold deep voice. Just the sound of it would have anyone bowing to him in fear. The two men stepped forward and when I lifted my head to look up,
Victor had disappeared from there. He was angry but I didn't do anything. For a second I wanted to see the woman and her baby but the men were looking at me as if telling me more or Victor would get upset. I debated on what to do but recalled what he told me. I had to listen to him no matter what
"Yes," I mumbled and looked at the closed door before I walked away feeling terrible. I wanted to leave just like that but I had no choice but to obey, hence I left from there with the two men following behind. I wanted to ask about Beverly, whom I knew was looking for me since I disappeared without a trace.
I was hoping I could run into him on the way to the entrance door but that wasn't the case because I didn't see her anyway. I didn't bother knowing she would eventually find me.
