James stared at him for a long moment, a slow, disbelieving laugh slipping past his lips before a deep flush crept up his neck. "Do you want to see them?" James whispered, the heat rising in his cheeks.
"Show me," Maxwell replied, a teasing smile spreading across his face.
James tossed the covers aside and slid out of bed, walking over to his bedroom wardrobe. Maxwell followed close behind.
James unlocked the bottom drawer and pulled it open, revealing a velvet-lined storage box packed with an assortment of toys, dildos in different sizes, vibrators, anal plugs, prostate massagers, strokers, and several other items neatly arranged inside.
The moment the drawer opened, Maxwell let out a low whistle. "What the fuck... Wow. You’re a bad boy. Okay, this is way beyond what I expected."
James crossed his arms defensively, though a proud smirk touched his lips. "Shut up."
"Wow," Maxwell muttered, shaking his head with an amused grin. "Do you even still need me at all?"
"Nothing feels better than a real dick," James retorted smoothly, closing the drawer.
"You’re right about that," Maxwell murmured, his voice dropping an octave as he watched James close the drawer. "Because no matter how many toys you collect, none of them can ever fuck you the way I’m going to handle you."
Maxwell walked back to the bed and sat down. James followed, stopping in front of him. He climbed onto the bed, then moved closer until he was sitting astride Maxwell’s hips. Their eyes met, and James held his gaze for a long moment before quietly saying, "Then fuck me."
Maxwell’s breath hitched, his hands instinctively settling on James’s waist, though he held his ground. "I told you, we’re taking this slowly."
"I know," James whimpered softly, leaning down until their lips were barely a breath apart. "But you’re too damn handsome to lie right beside me without making me crave you. Don’t you feel the urge to touch me? Am I not attractive enough for you? Look at me, Max—slim waist, perfect body, perfect ass, clean and tight down there... and I haven’t been touched in forever. I know you’re starving for me, too."
Maxwell’s gaze darkened, his hands tightening against James’s hips as he fought a losing battle against his own resolve. He closed the remaining distance, his voice a rough growl against James’s lips. "You sure as hell know how to push my buttons... but I meant what I said. Be patient with me, okay?"
James let out a soft, defeated sigh, a fond smile breaking through his frustration. "Okay."
Maxwell didn’t give him a chance to overthink it. He tilted James’s chin up, capturing his lips in a slow, intoxicating kiss. As the kiss deepened, Maxwell rolled over, effortlessly flipping them both until James landed softly on the mattress beneath him, their bodies tangling in the sheets as the world outside faded away entirely.
The morning sun cast a soft, golden glow across the bedroom. Back at Matteo’s estate, Matteo was the first to wake. He opened his eyes slowly, the initial haze of sleep clearing as he looked down at Adrian beside him. Adrian’s hair tie had slipped out overnight, scattering his locks loosely across the white pillows.
Smiling softly, Matteo reached out, gently brushing a stray lock of hair back from Adrian’s face before leaning in to press a tender kiss to his forehead.
Adrian stirred slightly at the contact, a faint, sleepy frown touching his brow, but he didn’t wake. Matteo didn’t stop. He pressed a warm, lingering kiss to Adrian’s cheek, then traced a path down along his jawline.
Adrian shifted again, letting out a soft, hazy hum of protest.
Unable to resist, Matteo lowered his head and captured Adrian’s lips in a slow, sweet morning kiss. But a quick kiss wasn’t enough. Letting his hands roam gently, Matteo pressed a trail of kisses down the column of Adrian’s neck, across his shoulder, and back up, deliberately teasing every inch of skin until Adrian was completely enveloped in his warmth.
Finally, Adrian’s eyelashes fluttered open. He blinked against the morning light, looking up at Matteo with a lazy, half-amused glare.
"Baby, stop," Adrian muttered, his voice thick with sleep as he lazily swatted at Matteo’s chest before rolling over and turning his back to him.
Matteo didn’t relent. A low chuckle rumbled in his chest as he shifted closer, sliding flush against Adrian’s back. He pressed his morning erection firmly against Adrian’s lower spine, wrapping an arm securely around his waist. Leaning down, he brushed his lips against Adrian’s bare shoulder, his voice a gravelly, sleep-rough whisper.
"Good morning, baby."
Before Adrian could react, Matteo started pressing hot, open-mouthed kisses along the sensitive curve of his neck, making Adrian shiver despite himself.
Adrian finally let out a defeated breath, throwing his head back against the pillow. "Fine. You win."
He rolled back over to face Matteo, a reluctant smile breaking through his exhaustion as he poked Matteo firmly in the chest. "You are such a pain in the ass, you know that?"
Matteo grinned, his eyes gleaming with playful triumph as he pulled him tighter against his body. "Yes, I am. And you love me way too much to care."
Adrian wrapped his arms around Matteo’s neck, burying his face briefly against his shoulder before pulling back with a fond smile. "Good morning, my big baby."
Matteo pressed a gentle kiss to the crown of Adrian’s hair. "Alright, let’s get up, shower, and get ready. I want to take you somewhere and show you the surprise."
Adrian groaned softly, stretching his arms above his head. "Alright, baby. But since you’re the one dragging me out of bed this early, you’re carrying me to the shower and taking care of everything else."
Matteo’s lips quirked into a suggestive smirk, his hands sliding down to rest on Adrian’s hips. "Including fucking you right now?"
Adrian rolled his eyes, giving Matteo a light shove against the chest. "No, you idiot. I mean picking out my outfit, brushing my hair, and waiting on me hand and foot."
Matteo chuckled, shaking his head. "Alright, babe. Deal."
True to his word, Matteo swung his legs over the side of the bed, scooped Adrian effortlessly into his arms, and carried him straight into the bathroom to start the shower.
After a long, refreshing shower together, they stepped back into the steam-filled bedroom. Matteo gently helped Adrian get dressed, choosing a soft, comfortable casual outfit, carefully styling his hair, and misting a hint of his favorite cologne over his neck.
Once Adrian was ready, he returned the favor by picking out a sleek black overcoat and a fitted turtleneck for Matteo. He gently straightened the folded collar of the turtleneck before slipping the overcoat onto his shoulders and pressing a quick peck to his cheek.
Looking sharp and fully prepared, they headed downstairs for a quiet breakfast together. As soon as they finished, they walked out the front doors and slid into the back seat of the waiting car idling in the driveway.
As the car pulled away smoothly, Adrian glanced over at Matteo’s sharp, immaculately dressed reflection in the tinted window. He looked down at his own casual clothes, a sudden wave of confusion washing over him.
Wait a second, Adrian thought, his brow furrowing slightly as a realization hit him. From his outfit... this definitely isn’t a proposal setup. What the hell is he actually planning then?
Adrian turned toward Matteo, narrowing his eyes suspiciously.
"Alright," he said, folding his arms. "I’ve been patient long enough. "You’re really not going to tell me where we’re going, are you?" Adrian asked.
Matteo smirked, the corners of his lips lifting. "Where’s the fun in a surprise if I ruin it before we get there, baby?"
Adrian let out an exaggerated sigh and turned back to watch the scenery roll by. The journey stretched well past an hour and a half as the car navigated through the thickening morning traffic of the city’s premier business district.
Finally, the vehicle began to slow down, easing off the main boulevard and turning onto a wide, bustling avenue lined with high-end corporate offices and luxury commercial properties.
Adrian blinked, his gaze lifting past the frosted car window to take in the imposing structure looming before them. A modern five-story commercial building stood proudly on a prime corner lot along one of the city’s busiest avenues. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows wrapped cleanly around the front, giving pedestrians a crystal-clear view inside, while a spacious parking area stretched along the side and a wide, heavily secured gate led into a private rear entrance.
"Being a corner lot, it faced two major roads, giving it an unmistakable sense of prestige and prime visibility."
Adrian turned his head, looking over at Matteo with a bewildered frown. "Wait. What are we doing here?"
Matteo didn’t answer immediately. A soft smile curved his lips as he unbuckled his seatbelt, reached across to open Adrian’s door, and gently took his hand, pulling him out of the vehicle.
"Come with me, baby," Matteo murmured, leading him forward past the gleaming glass facade.
As they walked up to the front entrance, a pair of armed security guards stationed at the heavy glass doors snapped to attention, nodding respectfully as Matteo flashed a digital pass.
They stepped inside, and Adrian’s breath instantly hitched.
The ground floor was breathtaking...
