Olivia’s pupils contracted to the size of needles when she saw the huge fire dragon hovering above. She felt a chill run down her spine when, for a second, she thought the dragon had looked in her direction. This was the first time she had felt such terror in her life. The only other time she had felt this much fear was when she had been kidnapped as a child years ago. Just like back then, she was now helpless in the face of such overwhelming power.
"At least the civilians have been evacuated," Olivia’s eyes narrowed as she thought this, and she could tell that if the fire dragon attacked, a large part of the city would be wiped out.
She looked to her side and saw Rachel and Andrew unconscious. She slapped both of their faces and shouted, "Hey, wake up quickly!"
Seeing that they didn’t react, she coated her hand with a thin layer of ice and slapped them hard again.
"Fuck, who is hitting me?" Rachel, feeling the blow, grunted in pain and jumped up. She glared at Olivia and said, "Olivia, what the fuck? Is this a way of waking someone up?... No, wait, why am I lying on the ground anyway?"
"Holy shit!" Andrew, who was also displeased, suddenly shouted.
Rachel looked at him and asked, "Why are you screaming?"
"Look there," Andrew said as he pointed a trembling finger at the sky.
"Damn," Rachel cursed upon seeing the dragon and immediately realized why Olivia had woken them up like that.
Without a second thought, she immediately summoned a skeleton bird-like creature, mounted it, and shouted, "Hurry and get out of here!"
"Hey, wait for us!" Andrew shouted as he and Olivia both hopped onto the skeleton, and they flew away as far as they could from the calamity unfolding in the sky.

"This..." Amber, who had gotten far away from the battle, swallowed a mouthful of saliva when she saw the humongous flaming dragon in the sky. She knew this attack did not belong to Victor, as his flames were blue, whereas these were orange.
"This must be Mother’s doing," Amber muttered in a low voice. She could not help but feel a pang of regret as she thought, "If only she had possessed this kind of power when she was alive... she would never have fallen at that bastard’s hands."
Just thinking about Pluto still made her gnash her teeth in anger. She did not linger there for long, as she spread her ice wings and flew even farther away.
---
"This is pure bullshit," Victor gritted his teeth as sweat dripped down his face while looking at the enormous dragon. He had a feeling that even with his strongest attack...
"Son-in-law, this is the strongest attack in my arsenal. How do you like it?" Fanna said in a sweet voice.
"Hehe, I really like it," Victor said with a smile that looked anything but pleasant.
"Let’s first weaken her a bit, and then boost my stats," Victor mumbled. Then his eyes turned cold, and he said in a chilling voice, "Bloodlust."
As soon as Victor uttered those words, his body was enveloped in a dark aura, and Fanna, who had been wearing a smug smile, froze. She looked at Victor in shock and muttered, "This killing intent..."
---
Regal, who had started running the moment he saw the flaming dragon after waking up, cursed, "Damn, how shameful. One day I will tear those undead apart with my own hands."
Suddenly, he paused, and his body trembled when he felt the overwhelming killing intent. He looked back and saw a pillar of crimson miasma rising into the sky, turning the heavens blood-red.
"What is going on? Why am I being weakened?" Regal frowned, and then a notification popped up on his retina. His eyes widened.
"This..."
---
[Faceless has used the skill ’Bloodlust’]
[Your killing intent is lower than that of the individual Faceless.]
[You are affected by the skill ’Bloodlust’.]
[You are within the range of the skill ’Bloodlust’.]
[All stats have received a 5% debuff.]
As the skeleton bird kept flying forward, Olivia, Andrew, and Rachel, who had been feeling tense, froze momentarily when they felt the bloodlust emanating from behind them. Their eyes widened when they saw the notification appear.
"That killing intent is from Faceless," Rachel said, her face paling as she sensed the murderous aura. She knew from the game that to obtain Bloodlust, one needed to kill a certain number of people. They also possessed the skill, but it paled in comparison to the one she was feeling now.
"Just how many beings did he kill... to cultivate his killing intent to such a terrifying level?" Andrew said, sweat dripping from his forehead.
"Probably thousands," Olivia said with a paper-white face as she felt a tremor run through her soul the moment she sensed the killing intent.
"He is probably fighting that undead... I wonder if a 5% debuff will even help him," Olivia said.
"Crazy. That guy is built different... Now I really want to find out his true identity," Rachel said as she looked back, and sure enough, the clouds were rumbling with black lightning.
---
"Tch, looks like the skill did not help much," Victor clicked his tongue in irritation when he saw the flaming dragon above his head shrink only slightly, so little that it was nearly impossible to notice with the naked eye.
"Future son-in-law, I must say your killing intent is certainly impressive... but I hope that’s not all you have in your arsenal to defeat me," Fanna said with a smile, but her wariness toward Victor, which had previously been at thirty, had now risen to a hundred after sensing his killing intent.
"Of course not," Victor smiled as he opened his inventory and took out a potion.
---
Name: Health Converter Potion
Rank: Epic
Description: After consuming it, the user can sacrifice health to boost any stat of their choice.
---
This was the potion that he had received from Princess Amanda before he came here. According to her, this was one of the rarest drops in the dungeon, and she had offered it to him in exchange for his support.
Gulp
Without hesitation, Victor immediately drained the entire potion, and the next moment his body was covered in a second crimson aura.
[Ding Dong]
[You have sacrificed 50% of your Health Points to boost your Attack Power.]
[Ding Dong]
[Your Health has fallen below 50%.]
[Blood Berserk Bloodline has been activated.]
[All of your stats have been boosted by 10%.]
The moment Fanna noticed the change in Victor’s aura, she cursed, "Shit, I shouldn’t have wasted time... Descend!"
She could have easily attacked him earlier, but she had wanted to defeat him after he had given it his all. She thought it would be better to defeat him like that so he would have no intention of going against her in the future, but now she regretted her decision and, without hesitation, launched her attack.
Roar!
With a deafening roar, the humongous dragon made of fire descended like a meteor.
"Yin Crown!"
"Flame Infusion!"
"Lightning!"
"Moonlight Slash!"
Victor roared as he unleashed his attack toward the descending dragon.
Bang!
Boom!
A massive explosion erupted as the attacks collided, but Victor’s expression changed the moment he saw the fire dragon overpower his attack and continue its descent.
"Fuck," he cursed.
The next moment—
BOOOOOM!!
A colossal explosion, comparable to dozens of nuclear blasts, erupted as a gigantic mushroom cloud rose into the sky, accompanied by a miniature earthquake.
"Hmm, did he get vaporized? I can’t feel his aura anymore." After the dust settled, Fanna could not see Victor anywhere. She even used her detection skill but failed to perceive his aura, leading her to believe he had died.
"Sigh, this will cause problems with my daughter, and I will also need to find another suitable male candidate to become my king, and—"
Just as she was about to continue muttering, she suddenly felt a chill run down her spine, but before she could react, she felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen and saw a sword protruding from her stomach.
"Who?!"
With bloodshot eyes, she looked back and saw Victor with half of his body submerged in her shadow, holding the sword.
"Gotcha," Victor said with a smile as he moved a couple of meters away and emerged completely from the shadows.
"How... I couldn’t detect you," Fanna said through gritted teeth.
"Guess," Victor replied with a smile. At the last moment, when he realized his attack was being overpowered, he remembered the separate dimension where he kept his Darkness Army and took a gamble by entering that dimension instead of turning into lightning and retreating. It worked. Other than being injured—which he healed using his Yin Crown skill and several healing potions—he had escaped unharmed.
"You..."
Thud
Just as Fanna was about to rush forward and tear his head from his shoulders, she fell to her knees and saw that her abdomen had turned purple.
"Poison..." Fanna’s expression darkened even further upon seeing this.
