Victor snapped out of his reverie and looked around. He saw that the flaming spears seemed to have stopped mid-air, and not only Fanna but everything around him had frozen in place. It felt as though someone had pressed the pause button on a video.
"What the hell?" Victor was completely bewildered. He then looked at his limbs, which had already regenerated.
His eyes then snapped toward the system screen and saw the notification.
"Evolved?" Victor raised an eyebrow and thought, "Is this the doing of the Akashic Records or something?"
Victor pushed aside his thoughts about this strange situation and focused on his current predicament. He opened the details of the Origin Berserker.

"Holy... another SSS-rank bloodline!" Victor exclaimed when he saw the rank of the new bloodline. Then his eyes moved toward the description, and his body froze in shock.
As soon as Victor finished reading the description of his new bloodline, his body trembled, his pupils constricted to the size of needles, and his breathing grew heavy as he swallowed a mouthful of saliva. He simply stared blankly at the system screen and reread it a second time to make sure his eyes were not playing tricks on him.

"Where should I put the stats into?" Victor muttered in a panicked voice, as there were only a few seconds left before the spears would hit him.
"Speed first, as I need to escape, and I should also increase my defense stats," Victor thought, and without hesitation, he immediately removed all the other stats except Mana and poured them into his Agility and Defense stats as golden light covered his body.
He immediately felt certain attributes were becoming severely weakened while the other stats were increasing rapidly.

Regal and many heirs and heiresses of top families who had evacuated the city in time turned pale when they saw the massive explosions that had consumed the entire city. It looked like a scene straight out of a doomsday movie.
"Just how powerful is that undead?" Ruby said as her legs gave out, causing her to fall onto her butt while she stared blankly ahead.
Valerie also had a pale face as she stiffly turned toward Olivia, Rachel, and Andrew and said in a hoarse voice, "You three said that guy Faceless was fighting the undead, right? Do you think he can survive this? If he fails, do you think we will be next?"
Valerie’s words plunged everyone into an eerie silence as they considered the possibility of the undead coming after them. Their hearts clenched, and even the arrogant Regal was filled with fear at this moment. He had confidence that he could create similar destruction with his magic bloodline in the future, but that was the future, not the present.

"No way... that guy is still not dead."
Regal had a look of disbelief when he saw black lightning crackling in the sky. There was also a hint of unwillingness in his eyes as he thought angrily, "One day, I will surpass him."

Fanna’s eyes narrowed as she swore to herself that she had just seen a golden hue cover Victor’s body before the spears hit their target.
Her brows furrowed as a vague sense of unease gripped her. No matter how much she tried to calm herself down, she could not shake it.

Fanna’s body froze, every hair on her body stood up, and a chill ran down her spine when she felt someone breathing behind her.
Without thinking for a second, she immediately shot forward with her maximum speed on instinct.
After she was sure she had gotten far enough away, she looked back, and her eyelids shrank to the size of pinpricks as she shouted, "How is this possible? How did you survive that attack? That was an attack comparable to Tier 5, and how did your speed increase so much? What the fuck are you?"
Fanna was completely panicked and terrified of Victor by this point. She cursed through gritted teeth, "Damn, his limbs have also regenerated. Does he also have some kind of bloodline that helps with healing?"
She had never met or heard of such a bizarre anomaly. Not even those ancient monsters mentioned in the records she knew of were this broken.
Victor did not reply. He only looked at her coldly, with pure disdain and indifference. Fanna’s expression darkened when she thought of this, and she believed her conclusion was correct because he had never used this ability before. She was certain that if he had possessed this ability earlier, he would not have fallen into such a miserable state.
"Thank the heavens, he is fine."
Amber patted her ample chest in relief as she looked at Victor’s figure in the sky with glazed eyes.
Everything around her had been turned into a wasteland, and the ground had transformed into molten lava. The only reason she was unharmed was because Fanna had protected her from being turned into ashes, as she did not want to lose such a valuable asset for her future undead army.
"That bitch..."
Amber cursed as she glared at Fanna, who was opposite Victor. If Fanna thought Amber would feel grateful toward her for saving her, then it was nothing more than a delusion. Her hatred for Fanna had reached the same level as Pluto’s because she had almost killed Victor. Another reason was that Amber had firmly understood that this was not her mother anymore, but merely an undead wearing her mother’s face.

Fanna snorted and responded with her own serpents made of orange flames.
As soon as the serpents collided with each other, Fanna’s expression changed instantly as she exclaimed, "How is this possible?!"
Under Fanna’s disbelieving gaze, the black lightning serpents pierced through the flaming dragons with ease and charged toward her.
She did not have time to react as they all struck her.

Victor watched calmly as the serpents collided with her one after another, and explosions as large as the ones when Fanna struck him formed.
After the smoke vanished, Fanna’s disheveled figure appeared. One of her arms was completely destroyed, while the other was heavily injured. The attack had also aggravated the poison inside her, causing her entire body to become even more purple.
"Damn you, brat."
Fanna glared at Victor with hatred, but before she could say anything further, she sensed something and looked up.
