Victor pulled his cock and led her to the lounger chair inside the pool. After they lay there, she drew closer to him, her hands around his neck. Her ear pressed against his chest. While his hand hugged her waist and his other hand stroked her hair gently.
"Get some rest ..." Victor whispered. He knew she was exhausted after that hard workout.
"Um ..." She replied with a short mumble.
While Victor and Amber were having the time of their lives, the outside world was in complete turmoil due to the sudden invasion.
The city where Victor was was not the only place where the undead had launched their attacks. Fanna had divided her army and launched assaults on various cities across the country. Even though most of her forces were concentrated where Victor was, the other cities also suffered casualties. If it had not been for the top Awakeners heading to the other cities to provide aid after they left Manchester, those cities would have been in even greater danger.

World Awakeners Association Headquarters
Currently, in a meeting room, many people were gathered, sitting around a round table and looking at the TVs with solemn expressions. Each screen was playing a different video of the invasion, and everyone’s expression was extremely grim as they watched the footage.
"Jeremy, the damage report."
Lance rubbed his temples, looked at his Vice Chairman, and asked in a tired voice.
"Chairman, all the cities have suffered damages worth billions of pounds, and thousands have been killed," Jeremy said in a grim tone.
"What about Manchester?" Lance was most worried about Manchester, where the most dangerous battle had taken place. He had been busy fighting in the other areas, and halfway through his journey, the battle had already ended, so he came directly to headquarters.
"The city has been completely leveled. Not a single building remains; instead, there is a huge crater," Jeremy replied.
"I don’t care about the city. Tell me the civilian casualties," Lance said in a slightly anxious voice. He could already imagine how many had died and could not help but shudder. Seeing Jeremy remain silent, he grew even more nervous. "Well... don’t tell me every single person died."
As soon as his words fell, the others around the table also looked at Jeremy with dread.
"No. In fact, unlike the other cities, the casualties were under a hundred, and only a dozen people died," Jeremy said.
"What? How is this possible?" one of the officials could not help but exclaim.
"It must be the heirs of the top families," another official chimed in.
"Yes, they were one of the reasons, but the main reason was the presence of Faceless, who single-handedly wiped out the undead army," Jeremy said.
Hearing this, everyone fell silent once again.
"Right, show me the footage of the battle," Lance said in a serious voice.
Jeremy then played the available footage of Faceless fighting the undead army.
Several minutes passed, and the only sound that could be heard in the room was people swallowing nervously. Many of the officials had pale faces, with sweat trickling down their foreheads as they trembled in their seats while watching the footage.
"Fuck."
Lance cursed inwardly as his face grimaced in pain while looking at his plastered arm. He had been injured after being ambushed by a dozen Tier 2 undead and thought with a mocking chuckle, "I can’t even deal with a few dozen of them, and this guy slaughters Tier 3s like it’s a walk in the park."
There was a hint of fear in his gaze as he looked at the large TV screen, which was playing several videos of Faceless using his black lightning to completely obliterate the undead army before the footage was cut short due to the dense mana in the area interfering with their surveillance devices.
A pin-drop silence filled the room for a couple of seconds until one of the members of the association spoke in a hesitant voice.
"Hmm... could this guy, Faceless, be an NPC?"
As those words fell, everyone’s eyes snapped toward him. The middle-aged man broke out in a nervous sweat and continued, "I mean, these undead came from the game world, so why can’t Faceless be one as well?"
"That’s..."
Jeremy was about to retort, but his words caught in his throat as he found himself unable to refute the argument. In the game, Faceless achieving such feats and possessing such overwhelming power had been understandable, but now, in the real world, displaying the same—no, even more exaggerated—power made him unable to help but think that the man’s words carried some truth and logic.
"I don’t think that’s the case."
Lance, who had remained silent until now, finally spoke up. Seeing everyone look at him, he replied calmly, "Did you forget? He is ranked as the number one player by the game system. If he were an NPC, then he would not have been ranked alongside the players."
"Right."
"I completely forgot about that."
"Good heavens, what a relief."
Everyone who heard his words froze for a moment before sighing in relief as they remembered.
"That’s good. If he is a player, then unless he is a psychopath, he won’t do anything extreme with his powers, like slaughtering people or dominating the world," Jeremy said as he wiped the sweat from his brow.
The others also breathed a sigh of relief. Just thinking about the power Faceless possessed sent a chill down their spines.
"Why doesn’t he reveal his identity? He could have all the glory, fame, and wealth," someone could not help but voice his thoughts.
"It really doesn’t matter to him. He can simply grow stronger in peace and silence, and whenever he chooses to reveal his identity, he will still receive everything you just mentioned," Lance said with a sigh as he thought, "Just who are you?"

Angel Wing Guild Headquarters
"How many of our guild members died?" Rachel, who was sitting across from Olivia and Andrew, asked in a grave voice.
"A few died, and we lost a few talented prospects whom we were planning to nurture. This is a huge loss," Andrew said with frustration. He would have preferred that hundreds of ordinary Awakeners from their guild had died instead of the few with high talent. In his eyes, quality always surpassed quantity.
"Well, it does not matter. From the reports, the other guilds have suffered even worse casualties," Olivia said in a cold voice, her expression completely indifferent, as though she did not care about the lives of the guild members who had died. Of course, she might have felt a bit bad, but those people were just like new employees with whom she did not have a close relationship and, more importantly, barely knew.
"Anyway, have you brought the video I asked for?" Olivia turned her head toward Andrew.
Rachel, hearing this, asked, "Are you talking about the footage of Faceless fighting?"
"No, not that..." Andrew said as he turned on the TV, and the screen showed Amber.
"Who’s this?" Rachel asked with a raised eyebrow as she looked at the woman and thought, *Her beauty is comparable to, and maybe even greater than, Olivia’s.*
Rachel, who had been relaxed, suddenly had her pupils constrict. "This..."
Rachel watched as Amber summoned black ice and froze the entire place.
Snap.
Rachel immediately turned her head toward Olivia, who was calmly watching the screen.
"Olivia, this looks like an ice bloodline, right?" Rachel asked hesitantly.
"It does not just look like one; it is indeed an ice bloodline, and it seems to be some kind of mutated ice warlock bloodline," Olivia said with interest.
"Rachel, have you forgotten about Amber Goldburn? We watched the video together," Andrew said as he rubbed his temples and looked at the idiot.
Rachel froze upon hearing this. Then her memory was jolted, and her face flushed crimson. "I- uh, it slipped my mind, all right? I’m too stressed because of the invasion."
"Her ice feels different from yours," Andrew said with a furrowed brow, ignoring Rachel.
"Hah, it can’t be. The color is only different," Rachel scoffed and said with forced confidence as she looked at Olivia and added, "Right, Olivia?"
"No, he is right. This bloodline is stronger than my own," Olivia said calmly. In fact, she had already realized that when she first saw Amber using the bloodline during the entrance exam, but it was confirmed after she picked up a black ice shard from the battlefield and examined it with her own bloodline. She could tell that the mana density within the ice shard was higher than hers, and its hardness and sharpness were also superior to her own ice.
"What do you want to do now? Should we..." Rachel said before making a slicing gesture across her neck.
Boink.
"Ouch!" Rachel grabbed her head with teary eyes and looked at Olivia, who rolled her eyes at Rachel.
"Stop talking nonsense." Olivia was sometimes speechless because of Rachel. One moment she was mature, and the next she acted like a child.
She rubbed her temples and said, "Isn’t she also attending the Academy? I’ll befriend her then."
