The serious-looking man had just finished speaking when an earth-shattering rumble erupted from beneath the Imperial Guards’ feet. The frequency of the vibrations was so intense that countless guards lost their footing and tumbled to the ground.
"Damn it! These are all burrowing Magical Beasts! Everyone, take to the sky!" The serious-looking man shot into the air, infusing his voice with Primordial Power as he roared, his command echoing throughout Luofeng City.
But by the time his voice reached the Imperial Guards’ ears, before they could even react, countless dark holes had appeared in the ground. Black spikes shot out from the holes, instantly piercing the guards on the ground and dragging them down into the darkness.
The sounds of wet chewing and bloodcurdling screams echoed endlessly from the holes, sending shivers down the spines of the Imperial Guards who had managed to get into the air.
"What... what are these things?!" Mu Gu Tian’s eyes widened in horror. His stomach churned as he watched fresh red bones and mangled organs get spat out from the holes by black blades.
"GURGLE GURGLE GURGLE..."
Accompanied by a deeply nauseating gurgle, a giant insect-like Magical Beast crawled out of a hole. Eight black blades extended from the sides of its body, propping up a spherical torso. That part wasn’t so bad. But when you saw that the sphere was composed entirely of mangled, bloody eyeballs, the world started to spin.
And that wasn’t all. On the front of this bizarre Magical Beast, a massive mouth gaped open, revealing rows of mottled, sharp teeth arranged in a circle. Strips of human flesh hung from its teeth, and it chewed continuously as its mouth opened and closed, making a CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP sound...
Seeing the Magical Beast in its entirety, the powerful, unnamed Sect Realm Martial Artists hovering in the sky turned pale.
"The Thousand Eyes Eight Blades!!"

In this way, the serious-looking man continuously pulled the beasts into the air for the kill, using their corpses to lure the remaining ones and divert their attention to the eyeballs on the ground. Soon, they had killed hundreds of the Thousand Eyes Eight Blades.
’Just keep this up. If the Magical Beasts really don’t send another wave of Earth Walking Demon Beasts to attack Luofeng City, then the city might not be threatened at all this time!’ A glimmer of hope appeared in the serious-looking man’s eyes. The Golden Giant Beast in the center of the lake sensed the distant effects and said with a sigh, "Oops. Looks like I used a little too much power by accident. Oh well."
