I was able to find an unoccupied room, after entering I walked towards the bed and laid on it. The room was spacious but not like Giovanni and I was still thankful for that. my eyes shut and I drifted off to sleep.
After waking up from my nap and feeling refreshed, I decided to spend the rest of my day arranging my things. My clothes and belongings have been moved here, I'm thankful that Giovanni hasn't bothered me yet. I turned to look at the clock and noticed that it was almost dinner time.
A knock on the door snapped me out my thoughts. " Mrs. Reeves "
I turned my head towards the door, only to find an elderly woman with a maid uniform staring at me. She looks like she was in her mid-50s.
I stared at her.
"I'm Mrs. Smith but you can call me Carolyn"
" Hi Carolyn, I'm Royalty. It nice to meet you"
" Nice to meet you too dear, I just came to tell you that dinner is ready" she smiled " your husband is waiting for you".
Although irritated I still followed her, I still wasn't ready to face that arrogant bossy man, but I was terribly hungry and I needed food like asap.
When we arrived at the dinning room, Giovanni was already there with Alexander. The boys face brighten as he sees me, a big smile creeping on his lips. The sight somehow brightens my mood.
I smiled softly at Alexander and take a sit beside him with Giovanni across who seemed pissed about our little argument early today.
Suddenly I feel the anger building up again.
What exactly did he expect.? I can't just sleep in the same room with him even though we are married.
It's best to ignore him.
A maid served our Dinner, which consists of jellof spaghetti with chicken. At the sight of the food, I couldn't help but salivate at how delicious it look which could also help as a distraction from Giovanni.
The three of us began eating in silence, which was broken by Giovanni.
" Did you have a good nap in your new splendid room"
I looked up from my food, flashing him a dazzling smile.
"Absolutely" I said " best sleep ever" I said teasingly, his annoyance grew.
We continue eating and Giovanni breaks the silence again. Ugh!. Can't we just eat in peace.
" What will you be doing tomorrow Roy".
" Non of your business. thou I plan on spending my day with little Alexander here"
Alex turned towards me a smile beamed his face then he continued eating, I ruffled his hair then turned my gaze toward Giovanni.
" Can we just eat in peace" I said annoyed at him for disrupting the peaceful dinner. the only respond I got was a grumbled "fine" pouting like a baby, I shake my head at how childish he was acting.
After dinning was over. I went back to my room ignoring Giovanni and kissing Alexander on his head, wishing him goodnight.

The next morning, I woke up to the sound of birds chirping. I get up from my bed and open the curtain to enjoy the beautiful view of the garden which I could clearly see, how many gardens does he have. I could also see the pool from here.
Gosh, this house is wonderful. If only the owner is as amazing as it is.
After taking a shower. I put on a pair of faded jeans and a black camisole and sat down thinking of what to do. I know Alexander would be in school now since it was Thursday and I woke up late. I was still not able to coming up with anything to do.
Great, my life sucks.
My stomach suddenly rumbled signaling that I was hungry so I decided to find something to eat downstairs . The house looked more beautiful with sun shining through the floor to the celling windows and I could find myself getting comfortable here.
I was studying the house when I heard a sound coming from the kitchen, I walked towards the kitchen and met Carolyn.
" Good morning, Royalty" she said
" Giovanni and Alexander left early because Alexander had extracurricular activities today"
"What time does Alexander close from school "
" Mostly 2:30PM" she answered, I remembered the promised I made to him yesterday.
" Can i make your breakfast for you" she asked
" That'll be great, I really enjoyed last night dinner, do you want any help"
" No dear, I will be done with it very soon."
Not up to a second, Carolyn placed a plate of pancakes and omelet at the table. I whispered out a "thank you"
" Does Giovanni take Alexander to school before going to work." I asked.
" Every single day, except on when he travels for business meetings."
Well, that's surprising. I thought that businessmen like him barley have a enough time for such a routine. Finding this out made him earn my respect a little bit, but I won't tell him that. I don't want his ego to grow more than it already has. My phone rang and Vicki's name popped up, I clicked on it to answer.
" Hey best friend" I said with a smile.
" Hey boo, where have you been? Why didn't you call me ? Don't tell me you forgot about me now that you are married" she asked all at once.
Victoria, always ever so dramatic. That's why I sometimes call her a drama queen.
" One at a time babe. I was going to call you later today, so no I have not forgotten about you.
" We totally need to see, it feels like centuries. I miss you" she whined.
" It has only been three day Vicki" I said, rolling my eyes at her childishness. " Why don't we meet at our usual spot for lunch"
" Okay boo. See you at 1, then you can tell me about all your shenanigans between Mr. hot" she said ending the call.

I got up taking my plates to the sink to do the dishes not before convincing Carolyn to let me do it. After doing the dishes I went up to my room to get ready.
