Su Ze had been wondering why on earth the Gu’an Saint Envoy would choose to defect to the Filth Earth Organization.
Now Su Ze understood. The Filth Earth Organization clearly had a way to help him increase his strength, giving him a chance to attempt his sixth evolution. The price, however, was that he had to become one of the defiled.
’Maybe the Filth Earth Organization even dangled the promise of godhood in front of him.’
With the powerful Gu’an Saint Envoy joining the fray, combined with Su Ze’s own ferocious assault—his great hammer swinging with resounding power—the two of them forced Ye Xiaoli onto the back foot. In just a short while, he had sustained several injuries.
"Help me, quickly!" Ye Xiaoli cried out to his companions, but no one could spare a hand.
A moment later, Su Ze finally found an opening. His thunder-infused hammer came crashing down, caving in Ye Xiaoli’s chest.
The Gu’an Saint Envoy seized the opportunity to release a shadow that burrowed into Ye Xiaoli’s body, tearing at his flesh and blood.
Amidst Ye Xiaoli’s bloodcurdling screams, Su Ze, remembering his goal of securing the kill, rushed forward. One swing of his hammer caved in the man’s skull, and a second finished him off.
Before he died, Ye Xiaoli’s eyes were filled with indignation. He was a mighty Nian Race Divine Spirit, a general who had dominated cosmic battlefields in his past life. To think that in his new life, on this tiny Blue Star, he would be beaten to death with a hammer by a native.
After devouring Ye Xiaoli’s flesh and blood energy, Su Ze’s strength surged once again.
Although he was tempted to take this opportunity to hammer the last identified Nian Race Venerable to death as well, he ultimately had to give up the idea.
For one, after killing two Nian Race Venerables in a row, Su Ze could feel a powerful gaze from above. Deng Sui had locked onto him.
If he continued to act, Deng Sui would likely free himself up to deal with him personally.
For another, the balance of power between Lin Hua Country and the Filth Earth Organization was already becoming skewed.
Lin Hua Country had come with a total of eight Venerable Powerhouses under Deng Sui. Su Ze had killed two, leaving only six.
But on the Filth Earth Organization’s side, including the Gu’an Saint Envoy and Holy Sword Adams, there were nine Venerable Powerhouses, and not a single one had been lost.
If Su Ze continued to weaken Lin Hua Country, the Filth Earth Organization would likely achieve a crushing victory through their numerical superiority, which was not his original intention.
He didn’t want to help either side win. He wanted them to tear each other apart in a dog-eat-dog battle.
Su Ze knew it was time for this persona to go offline.
Below, Su Ze’s clone stopped hiding. It revealed its true face, used its "Expansion" skill to become a giant, and began a massive slaughter of the Filth Earth Organization’s members on the ground.
The enormous commotion he created naturally drew everyone’s attention.
The powerhouses from the Lin Hua Continent were overjoyed to see Su Ze, assuming he was their reinforcement.
Mr. Kang recognized Su Ze at a glance. His expression turned grave. "It’s him! Su Ze!"
"The one who’s number one on the organization’s Hunting List?"
"That’s right. Imagine how wonderful it would be to absorb his extract."
"His strength is nothing to scoff at. Don’t underestimate him."
Several of the Filth Earth Organization’s powerhouses began discussing amongst themselves via voice transmission.
A man’s reputation precedes him. Su Ze now had a certain level of fame across the entire Blue Star; no one dared to look down on him.
Within the Filth Earth Organization, he was ranked first on the Hunting List. This list ranked the evolutionaries most worthy of being hunted by the defiled, which in essence made it a "genius list." The Filth Earth Organization had always had a penchant for hunting geniuses.
For a moment, several of the Filth Earth Organization’s Venerable Powerhouses were itching for a chance. If they could kill a genius of this caliber and retrieve his extract, even if they didn’t absorb it themselves, it could be sold for an astronomical price within the organization.
Even turning it in directly to the organization would earn them a massive reward.
But just as they hesitated, the mysterious man beside them volunteered, "Let me go take him on!"
Without giving anyone else time to react, Su Ze charged toward his own clone.
The Filth Earth Organization’s Venerables exchanged glances, but no one said a word.
They didn’t exactly trust this mysterious teammate who had appeared out of nowhere, but they didn’t mind letting him scout out Su Ze’s true strength.
However, they were also afraid that if their mysterious teammate actually managed to kill Su Ze, they wouldn’t get a share of the spoils.
Sensing their thoughts, Mr. Kang took the initiative. "You all focus on eliminating these scumbags from Lin Hua Country. I’ll go down and help him deal with Su Ze. Don’t worry, if there are any benefits, we’ll all share them equally."
Since Mr. Kang had spoken, the others naturally had no objections.
But before Mr. Kang could even get close, Su Ze and his clone had already started "fighting" below.
And what a scene it was! Truly breathtaking!
Dust clouds filled the sky, explosions rang out in unison, the earth collapsed and the heavens fell, electric serpents danced wildly, and floodwaters surged to the sky...
The stray currents of electricity alone were enough to electrocute several low-level members of the Filth Earth Organization.
The ferocity of their battle was so startling that even Mr. Kang was taken aback. He slammed on the brakes, stopping in his tracks, planning to enter the fray once the situation calmed down a bit.
Unexpectedly, the two of them fought their way from the surface deep into the ground. The violent torrents of energy and chaotic mental fluctuations made it impossible for anyone to clearly perceive the state of the battle underground.
They could only vaguely sense one aura growing stronger and stronger, while the other grew weaker and weaker.
Until, finally, one of the auras vanished completely...
Who won? Who lost?
Who lived? Who died?
The powerhouses of the Filth Earth Organization and Lin Hua Country continued their own battles, all while diverting some of their attention to the situation below.
Finally, as the dust and smoke settled, they saw a slender figure standing at the edge of a massive crater in the ground.
"Su Ze!"
The powerhouses of Lin Hua Country were ecstatic.
The members of the Filth Earth Organization, however, looked grim. They never imagined that Su Ze, an eighteen-year-old Venerable, could possess such immense strength.
They had witnessed the power of their mysterious, hammer-wielding ally firsthand—he had killed two Venerables in a row. And yet, even he had died at Su Ze’s hands.
’We didn’t even get to ask his name...’ A pang of guilt rose in the hearts of the Filth Earth members.
They had no idea that everything that had just happened was merely an act, directed and starred in by Su Ze himself.
