Chapter 516 - 324: Becoming a Legend (2)

The black-haired old man couldn’t invade his brain, so naturally, he could only invade his soul.

But after activating "Unyielding Will," Su Ze’s soul had merged with his body and was now protected and amplified by it.

Unyielding Will (Tier 5, S-Rank): The spiritual will and physical consciousness merge into one. In this state, the physical body amplifies Spiritual Power. The stronger the body, the greater the amplification. If subjected to a spiritual attack, damage is reflected back to the attacker.

The black-haired old man sensed the location of Su Ze’s soul. The shadow he had become was formless and intangible, so he tried to merge into Su Ze’s body to devour his spirit.

However, this was tantamount to another form of spiritual attack on Su Ze. Once the "Unyielding Will" skill registered it as such, the damage reflection was naturally triggered.

The power of this reflected spiritual attack wasn’t based on the attack Su Ze received, but on the strength of his own Spiritual Power.

Su Ze’s Spiritual Power was already stronger than others of the same tier after multiple enhancements. Now, amplified by both the "Bloodthirsty" and "Unyielding Will" skills, it had reached a stable legendary level.

As a result, the black-haired old man essentially suffered a legendary-level spiritual attack.

PTOO!

The black-haired old man flew backward out of Su Ze’s body, spitting blood, unable to maintain his previous shadow form.

The old man looked haggard. His body hadn’t taken much damage, but his spirit was severely wounded.

’This guy is pathetic...’ Su Ze couldn’t help but want to mock him. He hadn’t done a thing, yet the old man had rushed in and severely injured himself. Without lifting a finger, he had neutralized one of their Venerable Combat Powers.

However, Su Ze didn’t have time to taunt the old man. He was currently dealing with the Blood Spirits released by Mr. Kang.

These Blood Spirits were like a swarm of hornets, buzzing around him and taking a jab whenever they had the chance, much to Su Ze’s annoyance.

The Blood Spirits were fast. Each time they tore off a piece of Su Ze’s flesh, they would grow a little, their bodies getting bigger and their bites more vicious.

Su Ze tried attacking them with electricity, but it was ineffective. Gravity also had a hard time restraining them.

Su Ze decisively gave up on dealing with the Blood Spirits because the timer on his "Bloodthirsty" skill was about to run out.

All of this seemed to take a long time, but it had only been a few seconds. Mr. Kang and the other two had attacked Su Ze simultaneously, and Su Ze had launched his counterattack in sync.

He had to get a kill now to extend the duration of his "Bloodthirsty" skill.

Su Ze naturally targeted the spiritually wounded old man first, swinging his great hammer down at him.

The old man tried to escape, turning into a shadow and darting a hundred meters away, only to be yanked back to his original spot by a Gravity Chain.

At that moment, Mr. Kang, who had turned into a pool of blood that had splattered everywhere, finally reformed. Aside from a pale face, he seemed mostly unharmed.

Seeing Su Ze going for the kill on the black-haired old man, Mr. Kang and the white-haired youth immediately rushed forward to rescue him.

Just as Su Ze’s giant hammer was about to fall, another... thing materialized in the white-haired youth’s hand. This time it wasn’t a whip, but a tentacle.

The tentacle was long and fast. In the nick of time, it wrapped around the black-haired old man and dragged him back about ten meters.

At this distance, Su Ze’s hammer would miss. At most, the shockwave might inflict a minor injury.

But just then, the giant hammer suddenly grew ten meters longer!

Su Ze injected his evolution power, directly extending the hammer’s handle by ten meters.

And so, with perfect accuracy, it hit the bullseye...

With a deafening BOOM, the black-haired old man was smashed into a meat patty.

The storage item he was carrying also shattered under the blow, spilling all sorts of miscellaneous things onto the ground.

’Old geezer, you actually dropped some loot...’

His "Bloodthirsty" skill was renewed. The massive surge of flesh-and-blood energy that flowed back into him confirmed that the black-haired old man was completely dead.

In an instant, all the injuries Su Ze had sustained from the three Venerables’ siege were fully healed. His strength even increased, as the amplification he received grew stronger.

His Perception Tentacles swept over the pile of items that had spilled from the old man’s storage item. He picked out a few valuable ones and casually used his Gravity Domain to bring them into his hand.

A chill ran down the spines of Mr. Kang and the white-haired youth. They couldn’t believe that even with the three of them working together, Su Ze had still managed to kill one of them in an instant.

Mr. Kang considered calling for more teammates as backup, but the six-on-six fight elsewhere was evenly matched. If they pulled anyone away, the other front would likely collapse.

Besides, seeing his swarm of summoned Blood Spirits still tearing at Su Ze, Mr. Kang felt there was still hope of defeating him.

The Blood Spirits he summoned were extremely difficult to deal with. If they weren’t eliminated quickly, they would only grow stronger over time.

Su Ze’s massive body was the perfect nourishment for the Blood Spirits, constantly fueling their growth.

Su Ze honestly didn’t know how to get rid of these annoying Blood Spirits. For now, though, they couldn’t cause him much harm. With the healing effects of "Regeneration Body," their attacks were little more than a nuisance.

Of course, he had no intention of letting them continue to grow. He knew there was one surefire way to make them all disappear: eliminate the person who cast the skill.

These Blood Spirits weren’t living creatures; they were created by a skill effect. As long as he killed Mr. Kang, the caster, the skill would naturally be interrupted.

Su Ze locked onto Mr. Kang directly and unleashed a "Rhino Charge," rushing toward him.
