Fu Kui belongs to the type who "listens to advice and eats well".
Therefore, after receiving Ying Long’s instructions, he first reported to Lord Tingyao at Zhenhe Peak, and then went to the nearby Red Fish Temple to retrieve a copy of the "Sutra of Seizing Demons".
"I really didn’t expect that besides the Mountain People and Butterfly People, there would be a group of Human-faced Fish residing here at the Hundred Lands Mountain Range."
With a touch of sentiment, Fu Kui flipped through the two scrolls he held, while conversing with the demon in his heart.
To be honest, Fu Kui considered that he had fully understood the situation in the Hundred Lands Mountain Range before coming here.
However, the various people and events in the Hundred Lands Mountain Range still left Fu Kui feeling amazed.
The Mountain People and Butterfly People aside.
They are the typical groups of natives and outsiders.
But those Human-faced Fish, innocent in nature and capable of speech, seem to be interspersed between these two groups of natives and outsiders.
Especially after seeing the temple of the Red Fish Goddess.
Fu Kui vaguely perceived that the status of the Human-faced Fish in the Hundred Lands Mountain Range seems quite special?
Compared to Human-faced Fish in other regions, those in the Hundred Lands Mountain Range are all Innate Divine beings, mastering one or two spells and divine powers.
And they might exist in any river within the Hundred Lands Mountain Range, maintaining some sort of balance between the Mountain People and the Spirit Monsters.
It’s a kind of non-violent supervision, causing both the Mountain People and the Spirit Monsters to have a bit of reverence for them.
"..."
Contrary to Fu Kui’s expectation, the heart demon, which used to enjoy bickering with him, unusually remained silent.
Because as Fu Kui kept reading the "Sutra of Seizing Demons", its content gradually appeared in the heart demon’s eyes.
This "Sutra of Seizing Demons" is mainly divided into three Chapters.
With three sections detailing the special group of "heart demons".
They are a group of Demon Kings born in Great Freedom Heaven, the embodiment of all beings’ emotions and desires.
Regarding this Chapter, the heart demon, being a Celestial Demon, naturally knows it well.
It was merely a bit amazed that the Tao Ancestor actually knew of the existence of the "Bosun Celestial Demon".
However, the content of the next second Chapter made the heart demon more and more alarmed as it read on.
Because this second Chapter talks about another type of "heart demon".
Unlike the Demon Kings in the first Chapter, these heart demons do not feed on the negative emotions of all beings.
They are derived from a being named "Primordial Celestial Demon", strengthening themselves with the right mindfulness of all beings as "Heart Buddhas".
If the Demon Kings formed by desires are considered the ultimate evil.
Then naturally, these Demon Kings formed by right mindfulness are the ultimate good.
But regardless of good or evil, right or wrong, anything that goes to extremes is never a good thing.
The heart demon naturally understands this clearly.
What truly shocked the heart demon, even to the point of disbelief, was the birth of the "Primordial Celestial Demon".
Whether in terms of status or ability, the Primordial Celestial Demon is an equivalent existence to the Bosun Celestial Demon.
Its birth spawned a new batch of Demon Kings, accelerated the formation of Great Freedom Heaven, and also set new orders and rules.
This earth-shattering change is beyond the understanding of a heart demon trapped within Fu Kui.
For the first time in its life, the heart demon felt as if it... seemed... probably fell behind the times?
In just a few years, Great Freedom Heaven had become something unrecognizable to the heart demon.
This unease completely turned into undisguisable panic when the heart demon saw the last Chapter of the "Sutra of Seizing Demons".
The content of this last Chapter of the "Sutra of Seizing Demons" extraordinarily dissects the essence of the existence of heart demons.
Since heart demons can descend into the mortal world, using mortal bodies to walk among humans.
Then could all beings imitate the behavior of heart demons, transforming their desires into heart demon-like existences by descending inversely into Great Freedom Heaven?
The "Sutra of Seizing Demons" fully narrates this hypothesis and possibility.
Based on this hypothesis and possibility, on the last few pages of the "Sutra of Seizing Demons", numerous different handwritings appeared and vanished fleetingly, describing many feasible or unfeasible schemes.
"Huh? Are these other cultivators holding the ’Sutra of Seizing Demons’?"
Seeing those fleeting texts as well, Fu Kui’s face showed even more astonishment.
Because through the communications between those texts, Fu Kui realized their owners all hold the same "Sutra of Seizing Demons".
As the curator of this "Sutra of Seizing Demons", the Red Fish has opened some permissions of this scroll.
Anyone holding a copy of the "Sutra of Seizing Demons" can communicate with other holders through writing.
The content of these communications will be aggregated after a month, then added by the Red Fish to the subsequent content sections.
Before then, the holders of the "Sutra of Seizing Demons" can also engage in their own communications and discussions.
"It really is amazing!"
Without the slightest hesitation, Fu Kui took out the carbon pencil accompaioning the "Sutra of Seizing Demons" and began to write on it.
Compared to other holders of the "Sutra of Seizing Demons", Fu Kui has a real heart demon inside him.
Therefore, the views and arguments he raises are often sharper, able to directly point out the crux of the issue.
Soon, the mutual discussions about the "Sutra of Seizing Demons".
Quickly became a mode where other holders asked questions, and Fu Kui answered.
It was also in this process that Fu Kui realized the benefits brought by this "instant communication".
Two strangers separated by thousands of miles, yet could have a collision of inspiration and theoretical exchanges through a scroll.
In merely a few breaths, Fu Kui experienced what it means to be left wanting more, and to be at a loss for words.
Clearly having countless thoughts and ideas in his mind, yet because he seldom engaged in such academic exchanges in the past, he couldn’t find the right words to describe them instantly.
Fortunately, the holders of the "Sutra of Seizing Demons" are not ordinary people.
Being affirmed by the Red Fish and Ying Long, aside from other aspects, just their cultivation and wisdom exceed that of ordinary people by far.
They often can, from their own perspective, fill in some details Fu Kui didn’t think of, even correcting some errors that appeared to them as common sense.
Witnessing this scene, the heart demon within Fu Kui fell silent again.
It never imagined that there is now actually a group of people in the world, specifically studying the form of existence of heart demons.
Especially their discussion of that method, to have their desires enter Great Freedom Heaven and then inversely transform into heart demons.
In the heart demon’s view, its feasibility is already at an implementable stage.
This means that if even one of these people with slightly more initiative, they probably already have a heart demon incarnation in Great Freedom Heaven now.
[Am I crazy? Or is this world crazy?]
