Chapter 477 : A Guilty Label

October 20th, 10 AM.

For Su Qi, this day was nothing special, just an ordinary Thursday.

However, for the system girl, it was a day worth anticipating, for it was the quarterly financial settlement day in the system girl world.

The reason the system girl was delighted was that, similar to real-world performance indicators, the system girl world had its unique evaluation system.

This quarter, thanks to Su Qi spending a total of 56 million on luck prize wheel, the system girl had donated all of that money to various welfare homes, earning 5,600 Contribution Coins.

TN: Maybe this is different from the previous Gratitude Coin.

As the system girl's virtue points ranked among the highest this quarter, the Main System rewarded it with an additional 1,500 Contribution Coins as encouragement.

After the quarterly System meeting, cradling its little piggy bank brimming with Contribution Coins, the system girl excitedly counted on its tiny fingers, muttering: "5,600 Revival Coins, plus 1,500 Contribution Coins from the Main System – 5 plus 1 is 6, 6 plus 5 is 11. So 5,600 plus 1,500 is... 611,000? Huh, that doesn't seem right, it's too much."

In its personal space, the system girl tried counting on its fingers again and again. But the equation 6 plus 5 equals 11 just felt wrong. Soon enough, it found a solution.

It was simple—just count all the Contribution Coins in its piggy bank one by one.

Problem solved, right?

The system girl found its solution brilliant and immediately began recounting. Afraid of forgetting the previous numbers, it spoke each digit aloud.

In her slumber, Su Qi found her vision filled with more and more sheep as the system girl chanted the numbers in its crisp voice.

At first, there were just a few leisurely grazing on a grassy meadow.

But as the numbers grew, soon exceeding the tens, the meadow, though still spacious, started to feel crowded. By the hundreds, it was utterly packed.

And when the thousands hit, Su Qi's head started to spin.

The meadow could no longer contain the sheep, forcing them to pile atop each other's backs, buggy animations perpetually chewing—yet consuming only wool, not grass.

A horrifying sight unfolded in Su Qi's dream as the sheep kept multiplying endlessly. Shaking her head to dispel the nightmare, she awoke to the system girl's crisp counting voice:

"2,548... 2,549... 2,550..."

Rubbing her drowsy eyes, Su Qi asked the system girl in confusion: "What numbers are you counting?"

Delighted, the system girl replied: "Host, host, listen! The Main System rewarded me with a huge bonus today!"

Hearing the little one's excited, jumbled words brightened Su Qi's mood.

Following its lead, she asked: "How much was the huge bonus?"

"Hehehe, 1,500 Contribution Coins in total, host. Plus the 5,600 you won from the lucky prize wheel yesterday, that makes... wait, let me finish counting first. 3,560... 3,561..."

Realizing the system girl was recounting due to an inability to solve the addition problem, Su Qi found it somewhat incongruous—it had been swift with calculations during her Genshin Impact gacha sessions.

"In Genshin Impact, for a 10-pull wish, if you pull 12 times consecutively, how many Primogems would it cost in total? Do you know, System?"

Hearing Su Qi's question, the system girl once again paused her money-counting activity and quickly replied in a crisp voice:

"Host, it's 19,200 Primogems. What's the matter?"

Impressed by the system girl's rapid response, Su Qi realized interests make the best teachers.

After informing the system girl it now possessed 7,100 Contribution Coins, it finally ceased the crisp counting.

Then Su Qi noticed something familiar about that 5,600 figure. Thinking it over, she asked: "System, did you donate all the money from yesterday's lucky prize wheel without writing my name?"

Before Su Qi could finish, the system girl proudly interjected: "Yep, I did it anonymously! I'm like a living Lei Feng, never taking credit for good deeds."

Hearing the little one's spirited, joyful voice brightened Su Qi's world. Happiness is indeed contagious.

Emerging from her blankets, Su Qi stretched lazily, her cheeks warming as she recalled the previous night's events. Yet she had to admit, after drinking that red tea, she felt truly relaxed.

Her value had only increased four times last night, leaving Su Qi refreshed without any soreness—a reinvigorating experience.

A phone ring interrupted her stretching. Seeing the caller, her previously tranquil mood shifted, for it was none other than her wife An Ning.

After a ten-second delay, Su Qi answered the call.

"Hello, wifey An Ning."

On the other end were not just An Ning, but Wang Zijin, Wang Yun, and Xiao Xiaoxiao as well. The four sat around a round table in the Paradise, each holding a notebook containing information—not about Qi Yun Investment Co., Ltd., but rather recordings from Su Qi's wives about her interactions with Bai Miao.

An Ning recounted how, shortly after moving into Green City, Su Qi was constantly fed by Bai Miao, even being driven to Su University for classes before their relationship was established—a time An Ning still remembered Bai Miao calling her.

Wang Zijin spoke of Su Qi's mother Lu Ran describing the night of self-defense training with Bai Miao and the story behind Su Qi's engraved necklace from their Zhe Province trip.

Compared to the others, Wang Yun knew less, though she mentioned the "little girl" nickname from their Compass Stock Trading Company days. As for Xiao Xiaoxiao, having cohabited with "Sister Su" for nearly a month, she divulged every detail from that period.

Upon hearing the little girl recount Bai Miao's every-other-day calls with an intimate tone, showing deep concern for Su Qi's wellbeing—coupled with Wang Zijin having phoned at 8 AM only for Bai Miao to answer claiming Su Qi was still asleep (an excuse that seemed plausible given the early hour, yet suspicious as Su Qi had passed out drunk the previous night)--the wives had effectively labeled Su Qi as "guilty" based on the accumulated evidence.

Now that Su Qi had answered, An Ning's tone remained gentle as she asked: "Hubby, what time will you be back?"

Her gentleness stemmed from not wanting to scare Su Qi away before they could "play" their new Pinocchio game.
