The engineers followed Qin Xin into the underground passage.
The base station emitting a signal proved that there were machines with intelligent systems buried underground.
But why would machines be buried in this pitch-black underground?

But now they appeared in the underground passage, rolling toward them.
Were they going to bake them into human jerky and then grind them into human powder?
But they couldn’t retreat, behind them was the narrow passage.
"Chairman, you retreat, we’ll hold them off."
At critical moments, the engineers, though afraid, were iron-willed men; no matter how scared, they wouldn’t let a woman leave first; they had to protect their chairman.

Qin Xin didn’t retreat even a step; instead, she stepped forward and calmly said, "Start the interference device. Adjust to the maximum level!"
Simultaneously, she donned a pair of gloves made of refined steel and manually caught the first advancing shredder.
In the green dim light, the shredder’s gears kept spinning; if Qin Xin loosened her grip slightly or her strength was insufficient, she’d be sucked into the merciless machine maw.
Qin Xin stood firm.
She successfully restrained the first shredder and exerted counterforce, pushing it violently back at the others, blocking several machines to win a few seconds of reaction time for the engineers behind her.
