Chapter 446 - 254: The Purifier’s Hope

"Just as I thought!" A glint appeared in Su Chen’s eyes. He could feel that his Spiritual Power was increasing faster than his Physical Strength was being consumed.

’The Reverser’s ability to draw on Physical Strength and convert it into Spiritual Power is also considered a form of consumption...’ Su Chen couldn’t help but grin. By that calculation, he could use Holy Hand an additional three times. If he factored in his Tolerant ability, that was another two on top of that.

Of course, using Holy Hand was just one way to measure the improvement. This meant he could do more, stay in the Nether Realm longer, and expand his exploration range.

"Not bad... Not bad at all..." Su Chen was content. After tidying up a bit, he left the training room and instructed the Mimic Mechanical Body to prepare a delicious meal.

Perhaps because of the changes in his body, he always worked up a huge appetite after acquiring a new Holy Profession.

Halfway through his meal, a Mimic Mechanical Body approached to report that he had a visitor.

"A visitor?" Su Chen’s cheeks were stuffed with food. He finally switched his wristband off silent mode and glanced at it.

’I almost forgot...’ He quickly swallowed his food, rose from his seat, and left the dining room, heading for the docking port.

Jiang Mufeng was already waiting for him there.

"Jiang Mufeng..." Su Chen hurried over, his tone apologetic. "I’m so sorry. I completely lost track of time once I got started."

"It’s nothing," Jiang Mufeng said, bringing a hand out from behind his back. He held out a sheet of paper covered in dense symbols. "This is what you wanted."

After Su Chen took it, he added, "Remember to destroy it after you’ve read it."

"Thank you, Jiang Mufeng," Su Chen said with a nod. "I have some food ready..."

"I can’t," Jiang Mufeng said, waving him off. "Things have been busy lately. I won’t stay."

Su Chen didn’t press the issue. He watched Jiang Mufeng leave, then clutched the paper and returned to the dining room.

’Information on Divine Dawn Level Talents... this is no simple matter,’ Su Chen muttered to himself, looking at the parchment before him, which was covered in symbols.

Ever since he learned that Divine Dawn Level Talents were exceptionally complex, he had been trying every possible way to find out more, but there were very few public records about them within the Sect.

He had even sent Ming Lin to the Prophet Council to inquire about purchasing information, but the price for related materials was astronomically high. To learn the things he couldn’t find on his own, he would have had to pay over five hundred billion Star Coins.

That would have slowed his progress in collecting essences, so he had turned his attention back to the Sect’s internal channels and sought out Jiang Mufeng.

Sure enough, the Sect did have such information, but it was classified, which had led to their meeting today.

He placed a hand on the paper. The symbols on it vanished instantly, revealing lines of text—

"...A Divine Dawn Level Talent is no ordinary Talent. It carries a certain innate factor..."

Divine Dawn Level Talents were inherently precious, and with few samples to support research, this information had been accumulated over many years.

"...Based on information from multiple sources, a preliminary conclusion can be drawn: a Divine Dawn Level Talent can only emerge within a family that has previously produced someone of the Morning Star Tier... The fewer generations removed from that Morning Star Tier ancestor, the greater the probability..."

’It can only be passed down through bloodline?’ Su Chen frowned as he read that line. ’Well, that’s a problem...’

Suddenly, he froze. A panel materialized before him—

[Having learned more secrets about Divine Dawn Level Talents, the Purifier is shocked to realize its own impurity. It develops a yearning, hoping the host can ascend to the Divine Dawn Level...]

The look of anticipation in Su Chen’s eyes turned to exasperation. ’Dude, I want to ascend too, but they’re saying it requires an illustrious lineage...’

It was rare for one of his Holy Professions to react so strongly, but this Purifier seemed even more prone to wishful thinking than he was. Then, his heart skipped a beat as more text appeared—

[The Purifier senses the host’s frustration. It is contemplating... It is consulting with the Great Venerable Red Flame Thunder Resonator...]

[The Purifier wishes to obtain the blood of an individual with a Divine Dawn Level Talent to conduct further research...]
