Chapter 1978 - 1978: Prologue: Star, Seven Seas Travel Group, and Daily Life_5

"By the way, the gentle lady you saw earlier is Miss Atira. She's not only the ship's doctor, but also a cultivator and cook. Isn't she amazing?"

"That fat guy, huh, too lazy to introduce him—"

"Also, the kitchen must be locked at all times, or else some Papalarian might sneak in, you know how it is." She then scanned the dim surroundings.

It was quite a dark room, with two window holes in front, each connected to thick cables outside. The other end of the cables was wound around two winches, left and right.

Additionally, one side of the cabin wall had many pots, wooden barrels, and mops stacked, along with a row of rolled-up hammocks and rags. Tianlan looked around, took a deep breath, and patted:

"As you can see, this is the anchor room, but the outside anchor chains haven't been installed yet—and unlike the sailboats you're familiar with, the anchors on the Floating Ship are quite expensive, almost accounting for a tenth of the ship's price."

"Of course, they're sponsored by the Grand Princess of Istania—"

"There's also a small sail storage here, and material store, where some woodworking tools are usually kept." She turned the camera towards a ladder not far away, leading down to the lower hold and up to the upper deck.

At this moment, Pasha was coming up from below, holding a roll of sailcloth, and was slightly startled to see Tianlan standing by the door. He stopped there and asked softly:

"Miss Tianlan, why are you here?"

"I'm filming our ship, little Pasha, don't mind me, go about your work."

Pasha nodded, not daring to ask more, and continued past with the sailcloth.

Only then did Tianlan say, "Below is the lower hold, which is much larger than our previous platform, so this time we don't need a separate warehouse. Miscellaneous items, goods, food, and drinking water can all be stored down there."

She paused: "Although the Seven Seas Traveler is a winged ship, it can still carry about a hundred tons, many times more than Mr. Greyrock's previous load-bearing capacity. To sum up, the daily supplies are more than enough."

"Additionally, the woodworking cabin is also below, it's a very small area, but Luo Yu is already quite satisfied. If the Seven Seas Traveler is remodeled in the future, Captain Ade said the first thing considered would be expanding a dedicated woodworking workshop."

"The lower hold is still being disinfected, so I won't go down."

Tianlan picked up the camera, and knocking sounds came from behind her, "Tianlan, come out!"

Pasha turned back to see this scene after putting away the sailcloth, and was stunned, staring at Tianlan in disbelief. Tianlan was a bit embarrassed but still pretended to be indifferent and said, "Little Pasha, hurry and help me hold the door—!"

After speaking, she flipped the door shut and scurried up to the upper deck.

The upper deck wasn't fully constructed yet. However, the masts were already erected, with two in total, front and back. The ship's bow was low and streamlined without a forecastle, and there were parts of the crossbow cannon piled up here, but not yet installed.

Not far away, the mid-deck had formed ramparts on each side, mounted with heavy crossbows similar to those on Mr. Greyrock's platform, but this time it wasn't mechanical; it was authentic magic guided crossbows, powered by the magic guided engine below.

These crossbows could use up to eleven different types of magic guided bolts, including explosive crossbow bolts, each with a considerable market price, and of course, significant attack power, far beyond the previous substitutes.

It was delivered unconditionally by Princess Rupert. Additionally, the Tansnier Crafting Association provided a quite advanced small magic guided cannon, installed above the stern castle.

Tianlan turned the camera towards that direction—the cannon wasn't installed yet, only a small rotating structure mount was there.

Outside the ramparts, a secondary grade deck was added to the main armor band, primarily defending against small firearms, allowing for gunfire exchange on the upper deck. However, Tianlan wasn't interested in these weapons, and the camera quickly swept past.

She mainly filmed the dense ropes above and proudly introduced the sails of the 'Seven Seas Traveler'; as an exploration ship, it had to accommodate both deep-sea and coastal sailing capabilities, thus using the typical Baltimore clipper sail rig.

The front mast equipped with four horizontal sails, the main rear mast with vertical sails. Though the sails hadn't been installed yet, once the ship was launched, with snowy sails dangling, silver glow dazzling, and the front and rear main masts and square yards fully rigged with triangular sails, the ship would look stunning.

Tianlan imagined the scene on the bare masts, and then wiped her drool. She turned the camera towards the stern castle, which was being painted but already looked quite beautiful.

"The stern castle is the captain's room, is very large, about six by five meters of internal space, with the chart room and ship's officer's office inside, along with an alchemy workshop."

"That door is locked, ever since I sneaked in to play with signal flags and got caught, Brother Ade and the others haven't let me inside. The layout should be similar to Mr. Greyrock's platform, just with more spaciousness. If there's a chance, I'll take you in for a look..."

She muttered.

Suddenly, a large hand reached over from behind and snatched the Record Crystal from her.

The camera shifted, revealing Fang Hong's face. Our Lord Captain first looked at the Record Crystal in his hand, then turned it around, aiming the camera at Tianlan.

Tianlan, reeling from the empty-handedness, turned back to find Fang Hong and the earlier departing Luo Yu had somehow appeared behind her.

There was also Parker, with a bruised forehead, swearing under his breath.

"Let me introduce," Fang Hong shook his head, somewhat speechless, "This is Tianlan, as blue as the sky, a sky-blue fantasy, our Miss Poet."

Tianlan suddenly realized the unwelcoming situation and was about to turn and flee.

But Fang Hong caught her, "...Don't rush, next you'll introduce the confinement room, our adorable Miss Poet."

"Ah!?"

Tianlan shouted in shock.

Then a 'click' was heard, and the screen went black.
