After the smoke cleared, only a series of craters remained on the side of the Oxin Silver Flame.
After a round of shooting, Fang Hong did not allow the Dragon Hunters to reload. He had specially tested this before, finding that without showing off, the Empire's Type Eleven required at least several minutes to reload. On the battlefield, there was no time for that American leisure.
He merely ordered the Dragon Hunters to retreat, then said:
"Grip the sword."
This was said to Miss Tata.
Without the help of Miss Tata and the Heart of Fairy, he couldn't control so many Dragon Hunters.
The constructs, with long limbs, retreated one step with a swish, lowered their bodies, shifted their center of gravity forward, pressed their left hands on the holster of the True Ancient Sword, while their mechanical right hands grasped the hilts.
Of course, the people on the Oxin Silver Flame were not fools. They had been beaten senseless by the inexplicable firepower of these constructs earlier, but hiding behind the thick ship boards left them unharmed for the moment.
When the shooting stopped, these people immediately climbed up. The Chairman had not yet seen Fang Hong's movements, jumped up, and shouted, "They're out of bullets, Gunslingers, suppress the fire, don't give them a chance to reload!"
At the same time, he turned around, issuing a command, "Second team, advance!"
The two ships already quite close, the Heavy Armored professions who had not boarded earlier received the command, and immediately jumped over the ship's side, leaping down.
But before they landed, someone emerged from behind Fang Hong.
This person wore an odd outfit of trench coat and vest, with a tall collar, donning a pointed wizard's hat, revealing only one eye.
That eye was very lively, coldly glanced at them, while he held a short staff in one hand and pushed towards them with the other.
"Wizard!"
The gunslingers on the ship couldn't help but shout. Typically in Sky Sea battles, spellcasting professions would fly high to avoid shellfire on narrow battlefields – as shown earlier.
They rarely saw anyone fighting onboard, feeling either confident or daft.
But clearly, Xiangzi was neither — he simply didn't know.
The gunslingers immediately aimed. And the airborne Wizard wasn't one to take it lying down; the instant Xiangzi appeared, they raised their magic wands, ready to counter.
Wizard duels often weren't direct confrontations – dismantling each other's spells, suppressing magical ability, that's the way Wizards fight.
But once they initiated their attacks, their faces fell —
For they realized their spellcasting speed was far below that of the seemingly awkward teenager, though their Level was higher, it seemed he needed no preparation time, merely pushing his hand forward to complete a Curse.
The interference spells from the four airborne Wizards mostly missed, only one barely matched Xiangzi's speed but landed only on his heels.
Xiangzi only paused briefly, then supplemented a spell silently in his mind, ignoring those above, lightly pushing his hand forward. At that moment, to everyone's eyes, the Force Field generated a ripple between the two ships.
The ripple span was somewhat astonishing; even Fang Hong seldom saw Xiangzi use such a wide-range Force Field Spell, prompting him to glance back.
The transparent ripple swept forward, crossing the mere thirty-meter span under incredulous gazes, hitting Heavy Armored Warriors flying over.
They seemed as if hit by a giant fly swatter, flying back directly, crashing into the ship's side, then rolling down into the Cloud Sea.
The ripple continued, sweeping the right side of the Oxin Silver Flame, causing the whole ship to tilt slightly back, creaking and groaning.
"Damn!" Luo Hao almost jumped seeing this scene, "What did that guy give you!?"
Xiangzi glanced at his silver-grey gloves, hesitated but said nothing.
It was a gift between him and Ai Xiaoxiao from X before departure, each receiving one.
The lateral sway of the Oxin Silver Flame caused gunslingers at the rail to lose their targets, swaying dizzily.
"What are you doing!? The Chairman was stunned by the tremor, holding the railing, cursing the airborne Wizards. Four couldn't halt one, especially with a lower Level opponent.
The four floating Wizards exchanged confused looks, but sometimes spell proficiency is beyond Level, just like Combat Artisans – system stats only serve as aides in combat.
The Chairman realized the opponent before him was perhaps not as easy prey as first imagined. The Nightingale Team nearly obliterated, Great Sword Warrior halved, yet the combat must continue. Suddenly inspired, he gritted his teeth and commanded, "Ram them, ram the ship, board!"
He suddenly understood that the Oxin Silver Flame could leverage its mass.
But just then, the Seven Seas Traveler, which hadn't moved, began subtly adjusting its sails, moving at an unexpectedly odd angle.
Normally, airships wouldn't move from stillness in such a way, but the Seven Seas Traveler defied expectations, adjusting its sails and tail, rising nearly parallel with the Oxin Silver Flame.
Because it happened so suddenly, Captain Elan of the Oxin Silver Flame couldn't even order the cannons to fire. Even if he had, the rapid change might've delayed the gunners' response.
The Seven Seas Traveler, ascending, didn't intend to flee, instead faced them and rammed from the side.
A tremendous boom rang out. The Oxin Silver Flame groaned, leaning to one side, while everyone aboard was simultaneously knocked to the deck.
