Bella Green smiled like a fool, her eyes and heart filled completely with the man before her whom she loved deeply.
"Mason Bennett, I do." The girl nodded firmly, answering with a smile, each word enunciated heavily and seriously.
It was so solemn and earnest.
Mason Bennett placed the ring on Bella Green’s ring finger and handed her the bouquet of flowers.
Then, he stood up and pulled the girl tightly into his embrace.
"Bella Green, you can’t escape this time."
Hearing the man’s whisper by her ear, Bella Green laughed.
She wouldn’t run away again...
After a long while, Mason Bennett finally released her, gently touching her cold face, and led her to the car.
"I’m sorry for giving you such a simple proposal, but I didn’t have time to prepare another one."
Previously, he had planned an elaborate proposal, but she disappeared.
Returning to Brocade City again, Mason Bennett didn’t dare to waste time setting up a grand proposal. Not wanting to miss a second.
If Bella Green hadn’t insisted on visiting the film set today.
He would have surely made the registry office open on a weekend to get their marriage certificate.
Bella Green looked at the ring on her hand, giggling foolishly.
Hearing his words, she disapprovingly wrinkled her delicate little nose.
"Simple? Mr. Bennett, do you have some misunderstanding about simplicity?"
Bella Green absolutely adored this proposal; it couldn’t have been more surprising and delightful.
Mason Bennett let out a low chuckle: "Hmm, Mrs. Bennett, as long as you like it, it’s not simple."
A single ’Mrs. Bennett’ made Bella Green’s face instantly blush, yet her heart was filled with sweetness.
Mrs. Bennett...
After some sweet moments, Mason Bennett drove down the mountain.
Bella Green was deeply immersed in the sweet proposal and didn’t notice.
Such a grand display of fireworks, yet no one from the film set came out to watch.
Only after returning home did she realize.
Mason Bennett had made such a big scene at the film set, it might be trending on social media tomorrow.
Although she didn’t mind making their relationship public, she feared causing any trouble for the film set because of her.
Bella Green picked up her phone and called Matthew Timberlake.
Yet she heard Matthew Timberlake laughing rarely.
"Bella, you don’t have to worry about this. Mr. Bennett has already arranged everything. Rest assured, people on the set only know someone proposed to you. They don’t know anything else and wouldn’t dare to say a word."
Bella Green was taken aback, not expecting Mason Bennett to have already taken care of everything.
"Really sorry, Director Tan, for causing trouble to the set." Bella still felt very apologetic.
"Bella, do you want a few days off? I heard you and Mr. Bennett are going to get your certificate tomorrow?"
Bella smiled: "Thank you, Director, but it’s not necessary. I’ll go to the set right after we finish our errands in the morning."
Matthew Timberlake was in an incredibly good mood and responded a few times before hanging up.
And just as Mason Bennett came out of the bathroom, he heard such a conversation, and his face instantly turned a little grim.
She planned to go to the film set after getting the certificate tomorrow?
The man frowned, walked to Bella Green’s side, sat down, drew her into his embrace, and rested his chin on the girl’s shoulder, speaking in a muffled voice.
"Off to the film set after getting the certificate, hmm?"
Mason Bennett’s voice was low, carrying an obvious hint of displeasure.
Bella Green turned around, grabbed a towel from the side, placed it on Mason Bennett’s head, and started to dry his hair, while softly coaxing him.
"I’ve already delayed a lot of progress, and Louis Lawrence suddenly quit, so the change of the leading man set us back again. We need to catch up quickly. After all, I can’t let you lose money, can I?"
Bella Green teased.
Mason Bennett, however, wasn’t satisfied at all: "Then shall I invest an additional billion?"
