Bella Green searched the entire mansion but still couldn’t find a way out.
It looked beautiful here, but it was a gigantic, unbreakable cage.
She just felt terrified. Was Matthew Lawrence a lunatic?
Making such a place, it makes anyone staying here feel oppressed.
"Bella, don’t worry, you’ll definitely find a way out," Chloe Johnson comforted her as she saw Bella lowering her head.
Although, she also felt that the chances were slim.
They had been trapped here for so long, and it wasn’t like they hadn’t tried to leave before, but in the end, they never succeeded.
"Mom, I miss Mason Bennett."
Bella Green’s eyes reddened as she looked out at the snow-covered mansion, so beautifully unreal.
This snow had been falling since Matthew Lawrence left and had already blanketed the entire mansion in a silver-white sheen glistening under the sun in just half a day’s time.
The atmosphere inside was oppressive, yet Michael Green burst in hurriedly.
Clearly, he had come from another small building, still covered with snowflakes and emanating cold, he rushed in.
"What are you doing, Bella is still not well, and you’re bringing a chill into the room," Chloe complained.
But Michael couldn’t care less at that moment, shivering as he pulled out a carefully hidden phone from his pocket.
He had just discovered it and ran over without even putting on a coat.
Seeing the white phone quietly lying in the man’s palm, both of them were momentarily stunned, then their eyes widened with surprise and excitement.
"Where did this phone come from?"
The mansion only had a landline, no mobile phones or any facilities, not even a computer.
Michael panted, glanced back at the door, then closed it and came over.
"I just went to pick up the daily supplies that arrived today, and this was tucked inside a bag."
Michael’s voice was full of joy. With a phone, they could contact the outside world.
Bella Green was the first to rush over, trying to dial a number with the phone, but found there was no signal.
Their joyful mood quickly turned to one of disappointment.
Indeed, the signal here was blocked. Even with a phone, it was useless to make a call...
"Don’t worry, don’t worry," Chloe quickly comforted her as she saw the smile fade from Bella’s face.
"No matter who brought this phone, they must have considered this. There must be a way."
Hearing her words, Michael suddenly slapped his forehead loudly.
It startled the other two, and Michael winced in pain, rubbing his forehead.
In his excitement, he had used too much force.
"There isn’t communication signal here, but there is a network."
The light in Bella’s eyes gradually brightened: "WiFi?"
Michael nodded: "But it can only be accessed from the control room, and it needs to be set up first. Moreover, we might be discovered by the second master."
Michael furrowed his brows, speaking with some seriousness.
This was an opportunity, but there was also the risk of being discovered.
"No matter what, this is the only chance; we have to give it a try."
This mansion was not an unbreakable cage; they just couldn’t contact someone outside to save them.
They were bare-handed, and it was too difficult to escape from here.
Mason Bennett might not even know where she was.
The three of them, holding the phone, headed straight to the control room.
This side was the control center of the entire mansion—electric circuits, surveillance, and the network were all here.
Bella Green looked at the series of machines in front of her, feeling nothing but a headache, completely unable to figure it out.
