SKKKKRREEEEEEEEE.
BOOM.
Caldrin suddenly whipped out his arms, a shockwave sending everyone flying back.
A wall of wind hit Grey and he grunted, grinding against the powerful push as he blocked his eyes with a forearm.
’Holy shit, this son of a bitch is strong...’
Grey couldn’t confirm it with 100% certainty, but it felt like with the added size, Caldrin was actually stronger than the usual Dominion Class. Maybe not as strong as the Guardians, but potentially even more difficult to deal with. Finding a vital point to strike would be tough.

[BOSS BATTLE]
[Grey Temolt VS. Assistant Producer Caldrin]
–
[Description: Caldrin once had his whole life ahead of him. As the most talented of a Lower Race, he managed to worm his way into the good graces of a Race on the precipice of Genesis Evolution and become the Assistant Producer to the valiant Associate Producer Guard. However, because of a mistake he made in underestimating Genesis Candidate Grey Temolt, his repeated targeting has led to the backlash of the Genesis System, yanking him into the games and enslaving him to the whims of the people within him.]
[After seeing the one he blames for all of this, his power has reached a new tier and a toxic wrath has begun to fill the air. Good luck to all of those who stand in his path]
–
[Congratulations, Genesis Candidate! You have triggered a Rare Instance! Good luck and don’t die! :)]

Grey blinked as he read the description, and then he grinned from ear to ear.
"Hohohohoho," Grey released a booming belly laugh that crashed against the wall of sound and wind that Caldrin had just produced. For a moment, it looked like the destructive waves of two bombs had met in the middle, the crashing echoes splicing reality and space as though it might shatter them both. "So it was you. Oh fuck me, I’m going to enjoy this."
Waves of ink crashed down toward Grey, but one would have thought that he didn’t notice them at all.
His flower embroidered skirt danced in the wind, his muscles ripped, his hair shone. A grin spread across his face as he pulled the rod from his back.
"You can’t just use me whenever you want. You’re not Atlas’ chosen." The angel lady’s voice echoed.
"Oh hush up, sugar tits. I’ll use you however I please."
"Don’t let any of the muck get on me," she said defiantly. "Or else I’ll make it as heavy as a mountain."
Grey’s laugh boomed. Clearly, the angel lady just didn’t want to deal with whatever squishy flesh and pustules were hidden in Caldrin’s body.
But Grey also didn’t care about any of that.
He knew how the world worked. It was highly doubtful that someone as high up as an Associate Producer or higher was dealing with his case from the start.
They never cared that much about Cracked Worlds until he made them care. Until he basically forced his fingers into their eyes and ripped them open to look at the damn screen.
They would have passed it off to their subordinates, grunt workers who would have handled it, then slowly realized their mistakes as Grey flew further and further out of their control.
By the time the higher level Producers had to be called in, Grey was a raging fire they couldn’t put out anymore.
But what would have happened if Grey hadn’t happened to be in a Tutorial where Prometheus’ ring was hidden? What would have happened if he just died after the first knife to the gut?
Absolutely nothing.
Caldrin would have just casually swept his mistake under the rug and Grey would have just been listed amongst the countless other casualties there were. And that was if he was even given that much respect in the first place.
His first death was so unassuming they might not have even deemed it worthy of a replay.
And the person who would have taken that life from him was right here...
Grey might be grinning right now, but his blood was boiling.
SSKKKKKRREEEEEEEEEE.
The ink around Grey solidified and became weapons from spears to bows and arrows. Part of it remained liquid, trying to wash him out, while the others became as hard as metals as though metal shavings within them were being directed in pointed waves.
One would have thought that Grey didn’t even notice.
His butterfly wings became larger, and the more expansive they became, the more the tides and weapons were held back.
SSKKKREEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Shadows erupted from the bottoms of Grey’s soles, his power churning within him.
BOOM.
Grey shot forward so fast he was in the skies in an instant, high above Caldrin.
He pulled the rod back as it expanded into such a thick form his hands could barely wrap around it.
BOOM.
He sent it rocketing forward.
"DON’T LET ME GET MY HANDS ON YOU, GREY!" the angel lady screeched.
Grey went in right after it, his booming laughter causing waves in the air that hit against the back of the rod, forcing it to fly forward even faster.
BOOM.
The rod slammed into Caldrin’s head, deflating and deforming it like a balloon. The ripples spread out wildly and with such whipping forces that the air around it collapsed.
The rod rebounded off of Caldrin and flew back at Grey even faster than he had sent it forward.
"Well, shit," Grey said.
That wasn’t a simple attack at all. He was sure it could have leveled a small town at the very least.
Grey quickly moved his head to a side as his rod whipped by him, vanishing into the skies.
"Damn."
Unfortunately, he was still falling toward Caldrin. The enormous bastard had balanced himself on all eight limbs, absorbing and dispersing the impact.
And the moment the rod was gone, he recovered.
BOOM.
It happened so fast Grey couldn’t react.
A tentacle slammed against his side, sending him flying into the rubble.
BOOM.
The cracking of his bones echoed like claps of thunder.
