Chapter 727 - 487: Blood Evil Hall, Demon Blood Godslaying Spear

As the blood-colored divine patterns continued to spread, the entire stone wall turned blood red.

BOOM—

When the blood-colored divine patterns reached a certain point, a violent rumbling erupted. The whole giant rock suddenly collapsed, unleashing a massive suction force that instantly pulled Lin Chang’sheng and the others inside.

Not a single cultivator who had gathered around to watch was spared.

The commotion was so great that it immediately drew everyone in Blood City over.

"Is—Is the Blood Secret Realm being activated?"

"Could it be that kid’s blood actually opened the Secret Realm?"

"I think it’s very likely! Let’s go check it out!"

"Maybe we can get the inheritance of the Blood Evil Loose Immortal in there!"

"Hurry, move—!"

...

Countless cultivators surrounding Blood City saw this bizarre phenomenon and raced toward the Secret Realm without hesitation.

As soon as they got within a hundred meters of the Secret Realm, they were instantly pulled inside.

BOOM—

Right at that moment, Tang Zhongming finally found the entrance to Blood City, blasted it open, and stepped inside.

"This place is actually a Mansion Cave Heaven?"

Even Tang Zhongming was surprised, having never expected this to be the place where a Loose Immortal had passed away.

"Not bad, pretty lucky—just in time for the Secret Realm to open. Lin Chang’sheng must already be inside!"

Tang Zhongming muttered to himself, then quickly made for the now-open Secret Realm as well.

...

Upon entering the Secret Realm, Lin Chang’sheng felt the world spin wildly, his body completely out of control, plummeting downward non-stop.

He had no idea how long it lasted before the weightless sensation gradually faded.

When he could finally see again, he found himself standing in the middle of a barren mountain forest.

The rippling mountains stretched out endlessly as far as the eye could see.

It looked as if a vicious war had split the land—starkly empty, with not a single blade of grass or tree, the ground still radiating a sweltering, oppressive heat.

Lin Chang’sheng brushed the dirt at his feet, revealing layers of blackened soil beneath.

But that wasn’t true black earth—it was soil tainted and stained black by blood.

It was terrifying just thinking of the battle that must’ve raged here, enough to dye every mountain as far as the eye could see as dark as night.

"Where’s Gu Shan and Guo Yunchu?"

Lin Chang’sheng glanced around, but saw no sign of Gu Shan or Guo Yunchu anywhere.

He wasn’t too worried about Gu Shan—after all, Gu Shan had Early Stage of Tribulation Crossing strength. Ordinary people wouldn’t be able to touch him.

But Guo Yunchu’s meridians were broken, leaving her utterly helpless. If she ran into anyone with bad intentions, she’d probably be killed.

Without hesitation, Lin Chang’sheng released his Divine Sense, surveying everything within sixty thousand miles.

Luckily, Guo Yunchu had been teleported not far from him, just a little over ten thousand miles away.

It would only take Lin Chang’sheng an instant to make it over.

Unfortunately, several other cultivators had landed near Guo Yunchu as well.

They quickly noticed the now-isolated Guo Yunchu.

"Brother Luo, come here quick! Look what a treasure I’ve found!"

A skinny man called out excitedly.

He’d noticed Guo Yunchu, bedraggled and miserable, clearly separated from Lin Chang’sheng and the others.

If she were still with Lin Chang’sheng, they might not have dared try anything funny.

After all, Lin Chang’sheng had Middle Stage of Mahayana cultivation, and Gu Shan was an Early Stage of Tribulation Crossing. They were only Integration Stage, so they wouldn’t dare make a move.

But now, with neither Lin Chang’sheng nor Gu Shan around, Guo Yunchu was like a fish on a chopping board, theirs for the taking.

"What treasure?"

Luo Hao heard his lackey’s shout and hurried over. When he saw Guo Yunchu, a flash of excitement crossed his face.

They’d been trapped in Blood City for years—God knows how long since they’d seen a woman.

"Xiaofeng, good find. When I’m done, it’s your turn!"

Saying that, Luo Hao began walking toward Guo Yunchu step by step.

It scared Guo Yunchu out of her mind. Even with a little bit of cultivation, she would’ve fought back—but like this? She couldn’t do a damn thing but scream.

With her meridians shattered, all she could do was shout in desperation.

"Y-You stay back! My father is Hall Master of the Immortal Martial Hall! If you lay a finger on me, I swear my father won’t let you live!"

Guo Yunchu threatened, hoping they’d think twice and back off.

But the words weren’t even out before they got more excited.

"The Hall Master’s daughter, huh? That just makes it more fun. If I get to enjoy this even once before I die, it’s worth it!"

Luo Hao grinned darkly and leapt for Guo Yunchu.

"Lin Chang’sheng, where the hell are you?! Hurry and save me!"

Guo Yunchu could only shut her eyes and scream hopelessly.

Pft—

As if answering her call, a Thunderbolt Arrow tore through the sky from the horizon.

Luo Hao had just lunged forward when the Thunderbolt Arrow blasted through him, leaving nothing but a cloud of blood mist behind.

"Brother Luo?!"

Not far away, Zhang Xiaofeng’s pupils shrank as he saw Luo Hao torn to pieces.

If even Luo Hao couldn’t handle this, he didn’t stand a chance.

"S-Senior, I didn’t know your greatness! Please, forgive me!"

Zhang Xiaofeng dropped to his knees again and again, pleading for mercy, hoping to be spared.

But after a dozen kowtows, he realized there wasn’t a soul around.

Panic rising, Zhang Xiaofeng tried to slip away fast.

BANG—

But just as he spun around, another Thunderbolt Arrow ripped through the air—

He was obliterated in an instant.

"Lin Chang’sheng? I know it’s you! Aren’t you coming out?"

Guo Yunchu saw the Thunderbolt Arrows and knew right away it was Lin Chang’sheng who’d saved her.

Three breaths later, Lin Chang’sheng finally arrived at the scene.

Noticing something was wrong, he’d already fired two Thunderbolt Arrows mid-flight.

So before his shadow even landed, the Thunderbolt Arrows had already done the job.

Good thing he got here in time; otherwise, who knew what kind of suffering Guo Yunchu would have faced.
