Once the whole thing was finished, which barely took a few seconds, Adrian didn’t walk over to it directly. Instead, he just looked at the new chamber through his system screen. Right now, no one had physical access to that specific room. Not even himself and he had no interest in going there.
He had intentionally built the massive chamber pretty far away from the main dungeon room where all of the daily gacha stuff and the military training happened. He built it deep in the isolated edges of his dungeon space because he absolutely did not want the horrific smell of thousands of people’s waste wafting out into his mana crystal gold mine.
He looked at the 3D rendering on the system screen and thought for a while before he nodded.
"Okay now. System. Make me the slimes and drop those slimes directly into that chamber." he said, "And why don’t you make me a slime that actually has a limit to how much it can grow? Like a maximum size cap."
He crossed his arms.
"I want these specific slimes to be automatically teleported somewhere else once they reach their maximum size. And I want them to be instantly harvested."
[Affirmative.]
[Slimes already have a maximum size. That is the reason why they split and multiply.]
[Would you like to set up a separate automated killing and harvesting chamber for the slimes?]
"Yes." Adrian said, feeling a little embarrassed..
[Affirmative. Creating harvesting chamber.]
A small adjacent room was instantly created right beside the massive cylindrical body chamber. Inside the chamber, were just two skeletons and a few steel pots.
[Spawning 10 Slimes.]
Ten blobs of translucent green jelly were instantly spawned and dropped directly into the pitch black cylindrical tank. They just sat at the bottom, mindlessly waiting for food.
Once this setup was completely done, Adrian looked at his system screen again.
"Make me multiple wooden doors. I need exactly one hundred wooden doors along with their full attached frames. And they can be made with extremely cheap stuff too. Nothing fancy, just basic wood."
[Affirmative. Creating 100 door frames with light timber material.]
Almost a few seconds later, exactly one hundred simple wooden door frames along with the actual doors connected to them appeared right in front of Adrian on the grass.
Adrian looked at the massive pile of woodwork. It looked pretty decent and sturdy. But he recalled how the system said it was going to use ’light material’ so he walked over to test it out.
He bent down and picked one of the doors up.
It was extremely light for its size, but it wasn’t as magically light as he originally expected it to be. It was still solid wood at the end of the day, so it had some heft to it.
He put the door back down onto the pile and walked straight out of his dungeon.
He left his mansion and walked straight toward Cassius’s house. He walked up the stone path and knocked on the main door.
A few seconds later the door opened.
The person standing there was a familiar face, but someone Adrian wasn’t really used to seeing too much. It was none other than Cassius’s wife.
Adrian smiled politely at her.
She immediately bowed deeply.
"My lord! We are extremely grateful to have you at our place."
Adrian nodded.
"Could you take me to Cassius?"
She nodded quickly.
"Please follow me."
Adrian walked inside and she softly closed the front door behind him before guiding him forward.
This house was actually not one of the massive apartment complexes. Adrian had ordered his builders to make a separate, high-quality house for Cassius specifically, along with the other people who were in high leadership positions around him.
For example, Burke, Claire, and Thorne all had their own private houses which were not apartments. They were more like proper, modern houses with a nice backyard, a front yard, and high stone walls. Adrian was technically losing out on potential rent money by giving up this prime real estate, but he did value his core people enough to give them certain massive perks for their loyalty.
Cassius’s wife took Adrian directly to the quiet study room where Cassius usually did his late night work.
When Adrian walked in, he could instantly tell that this man was extremely dedicated to his job. If someone had someone exactly like Cassius back on modern Earth, he would be hailed as the ideal corporate employee.
Cassius was literally sitting there late at night, intensely looking over the financial details and economic spreadsheets of Oresfall under the dim light of an oil lamp. Adrian could see the massive stacks of ledgers and trade reports scattered all over the large desk in front of him.
This specific kind of employee was the one who voluntarily worked overtime without ever asking for extra payment. The exact kind that massive Earth companies absolutely loved to exploit.
But this wasn’t modern Earth. And there wasn’t anyone who was going to exploit or negatively judge Cassius here. Honestly speaking, Adrian was just extremely happy to have a genius like Cassius running the territory’s finances. The man was a machine.
Adrian walked toward the desk.
Cassius looked up, his eyes widening in surprise, and he immediately pushed his chair back to stand up.
"My lord-"
"Don’t worry about it," Adrian said, waving a hand. "You are not officially at work right now."
Cassius stood up anyway. "You are still the lord of this territory."
Adrian just chuckled a little bit.
"Okay, fine whatever haha. Anyways listen, I want you to do something very specific for me tomorrow morning."
He pulled up a chair and sat across from Cassius.
"I want you to get the builders to install exactly ten doors. Ten doors along with their door frames at every single apartment complex in the city."
Cassius blinked. "Ten doors?"
Adrian nodded. "These doors are going to act like an entrance directly to the dungeon without the citizens having to actually walk all the way to the main estate entrance every morning. This will massively increase the efficiency of the townsfolk and significantly reduce daily foot traffic."
He leaned back. "Even though the main entrance isn’t really that far, convenience does matter, doesn’t it?"
Cassius nodded slowly, his brain trying to process the whole thing.
"What do you mean, my lord? Are these door frames magical?"
