Chapter 133: Because he’s also my master

I watched Min-Cheol blush and my lips curled up.

Wasn’t he the one who wanted a kiss? He looked so gullible after meeting my lips more intimately.

"That’s your reward," I whispered in an attempt to tease him. "Thank you for your hard work today." I said and patted his head, giving him a bright smile.

Seriously, if it hadn’t been for him, I’d have had trouble getting Ki-hoon the antidote. He helped me and didn’t even ask for anything in return.

I guess he did her a bit jealous but he’s been so well behaved that I felt he needed a reward or something. Plus, he was still my number one favorite at the moment so I felt it was only right.

A kiss that wasn’t forced seemed so much blissful and heart-involved, you know. However, I didn’t feel it too much because I was too busy looking at Min-Cheol, who had his eyes pressed together in his flustered state.

He was adorably handsome.

But I hoped he felt the kiss better than I did. He was the one who liked me so I guess having the person he likes kiss him must make him have butterflies in his belly.

Well, my job here is done.

"Shall we get going?" I asked as I stood up, my hands stretched on the desk, and he nodded, retaining that innocent blush on his face, and I smiled.

I watched him peep at my lips and it made me wonder if that wasn’t enough for him.

"Is there anything else you would like to tell me?" I asked, brushing his face lightly with the tip of my fingers.

"Hyung," he called, holding my hand and melting into my touch.

Okay, this was a bit new to me. I mean, we’ve passed all that touchy and soft stuff but still... Him acting like this felt so new and foreign to me.

I couldn’t get used to it. Was it because I was trying not to or my mind just couldn’t accept them fully with the knowledge of my past life?

Well, I had no idea.

"Why do you keep going places with that old man?" He asked, and I guessed he was wondering why I let Seo-Jun carry me, spank my ass, and then went with him alone to the library.

It would baffle anyone who had seen just how much I despised his existence.

But it wasn’t like I could run away from my responsibilities forever. No matter what I did, I had to be cautious yet cooperative since he was also my master.

Besides, I made a deal with him.

I couldn’t go back on it the moment I had gotten my side of the deal done. If I made an excuse at that point, he would only assume I had lied about the whole thing and was trying to get out of it.

Things would’ve definitely been complicated if that happened. I wouldn’t be able to get myself out of a bind in the future if it had to do with him.

"Because he’s also my master." I said, smiling softly to him. "I can’t disobey my master simply because the idea displeases me. I said it before, didn’t I? I will do all I can to satisfy my masters."

So long it doesn’t involve spreading my legs. I smiled.

Min-Cheol’s soft blue eyes sparkled with worry as he stared at me.

He was such a darling.

"Let’s not dilly dally anymore, Little Min. I’m hungry." I said and dropped my hand from his face. "Let’s go eat."

"I calculated it." Min-Cheol suddenly said. "I’m sure I’ve gotten most of your smiles today."

Ah, right. We were still doing that.

"Then let’s wear matching pajamas today again." I said to him which made him feel warm. We’ll do that as soon as you transfer the money to my account, okay?

He was just going to be sleeping so I didn’t have to worry and keep writing the novel till I was ready to sleep.

It was a good thing the maids had their night shifts so they would be able to transport the novels to Seo-Jun’s room with ease.

I do feel guilty sending them to that snake’s room. If he suddenly decided he wanted to dip his fingers into the staff then that would be a big problem. So, I made sure to set measures.

Whoever I sent to his room would have to come back as soon as the book was sent; if not, I was storming towards Seo-Jun’s room.

"Hyung, Hyung," Min-Cheol asked and I snapped out of my thoughts. We were currently at the dining table having our meal, but it seemed I had been lost in my thoughts for quite a while.

Ah, I hope I didn’t make a mess.

I looked up at Min-Cheol and smiled.

"Yes, Little Min?" I answered and watched him smile in glee.

He was in such a good mood, despite how he worried about me going around with Seo-Jun. It was probably about the pajamas.

"Let’s go to my room today." He said and I blinked, surprised.

Ah, right.

Seo-Jun glanced at us but pretended not to care and turned back to his food.

"Alright." I answered.

I was planning on seeing his room sometime in the future anyway.

"Tut, all this time together, and no one’s gotten the Omega laid." Seo-Jun suddenly muttered, causing the air to feel sour.

"If you want to get him laid that much," Ki-hoon turned to Seo-Jun with a dark look on his face. He looked mad. I wondered if he was holding a grudge over what happened. "...then start thinking more about him than resorting to dirty tricks."

Yeah, he was definitely keeping a grudge.

Just look at how he was glaring at Seo-Jun who nonchalantly tittered.

"What’s wrong? Couldn’t handle a little aphrodisiac?" Seo-Jun asked, clearly provoking Ki-hoon, and I picked up my glass of water.

I started slurping loudly while watching the drama that was about to unfold but it made them turn to me instead.

"Ah," I exclaimed, as if I didn’t know that would happen. "Don’t mind me. I’m just here."

I found myself wondering who would win if Seo-Jun and Ki-hoon got into a fistfight.

I bet my money on Ki-hoon. Not just because he had once worked with Jin-Yeok and earned the name ’Castor’ but because I wanted to see Seo-Jun’s pretty face beaten to a pulp.

Ah, right. I haven’t said this yet. The reason Ki-hoon is known as Castor and why he wears a glove on one of his hands.

Well, that’s a story for another day.
