Chapter 262 - 244: Gathered

The space on the third level was even more distorted than the first two.

Dark blue torrents of Energy flowed through the Void like blood vessels, connecting countless floating, shattered platforms.

On the platforms, the ruins of Star Spirit Race architecture lay scattered.

Broken pillars, collapsed towers, Crystalized corpses...

Everything was frozen in a moment of destruction by some unknown power.

Ian landed on a platform, and a CRACK echoed from beneath his feet.

Looking down, he saw half of a Star Spirit’s arm bone, its surface covered in fine cracks.

"Ian, he’s caught up!"

Gaga leaped out from the shadows, its small eyes fixed on the entrance.

Bazaar’s burly figure burst out from the turbulent flow. His Battle Saber left a crimson trail of fire, and he smashed onto the platform like a meteor.

"Keep moving."

Ian didn’t break his stride, sprinting toward the edge of the platform.

Ahead, another platform floated three hundred meters away, connected only by a few broken stone bridges.

The moment he stepped onto a stone bridge, the shriek of a Battle Saber cutting through the air came from behind him.

A Blood Blade tore through the turbulent energy, aiming straight for Ian’s back!

Without looking back, Ian flicked his right hand behind him.

Three more Black Hole Potions flew out and exploded in mid-air.

Miniature gravitational Singularities formed once again. Although they would only delay him for a few seconds, it was enough.

He leaped into the air and landed on the opposite platform.

Behind him, the stone bridge was shattered by the aftershock of the Blood Blade, crumbling into a cloud of dust.

"Annoying Insect!"

Bazaar roared. Pushing off with his feet, he leaped directly over the broken bridge and raised his Blood Blade once more.

’You really think I’m afraid of you?!’

Ian’s eyes turned icy cold.

The instant Bazaar raised his hand, Ian relied on his extraordinary combat instincts to predict the attack’s trajectory.

He slid backward and to the side like a phantom, simultaneously pointing with his right index finger.

CHSS!

An extremely compressed Frost Ash Beam.

A slender, pale purple beam of light tore through the air, shooting with precision toward the wrist joint of Bazaar’s sword hand!

The destructive Energy of Interweaving Ice and Fire was highly condensed, and its speed was extreme.

Bazaar snorted coldly. With a slight twist of his wrist, he swung his Blood Blade to block.

BANG!

The beam struck the blade, and frost and flame exploded simultaneously.

The bloody light on the surface of the Blood Blade fluctuated violently.

But the weapon, forged from a Level Two Talent Witchcraft, was incredibly sturdy. It only dimmed slightly before forcibly dispersing the beam’s energy.

However, the momentary Chaos from the clash of ice and fire caused Bazaar’s movements to falter.

In that millisecond, Ian made a grasping motion with his left hand.

A black dot the size of a Rice Grain shot out silently, its trajectory cunning.

It curved through the air, bypassing the front blocked by the Blood Blade, and flew toward Bazaar’s slightly exposed left side, just under the ribs!

That was a relatively weak point in his Blood Boiling Domain, and also a spot where the defenses of a Body Refining Wizard were somewhat lacking.

’Gravity Collapse Ball—Penetration Mode!’

Bazaar’s pupils contracted. An intense sense of crisis made the hairs on his body stand on end.

He twisted his body forcefully, and the bloody light on his left arm condensed into a small Arm Shield to protect his side.

VMM!

The moment the black dot touched the Arm Shield, a terrifying Gravity erupted!

The bloody light on the Arm Shield’s surface circulated frantically to resist, but the spatial collapse on a microscopic level ignored most of the Energy-based defense, acting directly on the material structure.

CRACK!

The Arm Shield shattered.

The clothes and skin beneath Bazaar’s ribs instantly caved in, forming a twisted, fist-sized wound from which blood seeped.

He let out a muffled groan, staggering half a step from the strange force.

"You’re courting death!"

Being wounded by Ian again completely triggered Bazaar’s vicious nature.

He held nothing back, activating his Crimson Fury Secret Technique. His muscles swelled again, and his aura surged.

The repulsive force of his Blood Boiling Domain suddenly intensified, trying to completely crush Ian’s Entropy Change Domain.

Ian felt the pressure multiply as the range of his Entropy Change Domain was compressed.

But his eyes were like ice. In the instant Bazaar’s aura surged—at that critical moment between expending old power and generating new—

he resisted the pressure of the Domain, raised his right hand, and his index, middle, and ring fingers erupted in light!

CHSS! CHSS! CHSS!

Three Frost Ash Beams shot out in a triangular formation, locking onto the three weak points on Bazaar’s body that were most vulnerable due to his turbulent Domain: his head, heart, and lower abdomen!

This time, he poured most of his remaining Spiritual Power into them, and the beams were twice as thick!

Bazaar roared, his Blood Blade dancing wildly, creating a dark red curtain of blades in front of him.

At the same time, he forcibly contracted his Blood Boiling Domain to reinforce his own defenses.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Three explosions rang out almost simultaneously. Two beams were blocked by the curtain of blades, exploding into a sky full of icy and fiery light.

But the one aimed at his heart pierced through the locally turbulent part of his Domain and viciously struck the Blood Crystal Armor that Bazaar had hastily formed over his chest!

CRACK!

The Blood Crystal Armor cracked, and the Ice and Fire Energy invaded it.

Bazaar’s chest tightened, and a trickle of blood spilled from the corner of his mouth.

Although the injury wasn’t serious, it was undoubtedly a huge blow to his dignity as a Level Two Wizard.

"I will kill you!"

Bazaar went completely berserk. He recklessly channeled his Power, preparing to unleash a final, fatal blow.

Just then, a bone-chillingly cold aura drifted from the turbulent flow to their left.

Two ghostly green flames silently ignited.

"Bazaar, you’re making too much noise."

The icy voice seeped out from the shadows like a corpse from frozen earth.

Silas the Dead Speaker slowly emerged.

His gray-black Long Robe remained perfectly still in the turbulent flow, and the ghostly flames under his hood turned toward Ian.

"The Mars Squad... did you kill them?"

Ian stopped and turned to face the two of them.

One on his left, one on his right, they had blocked all his escape routes.

"I don’t know what squad you’re talking about, but I have crushed a few Insects," he replied calmly.

"Very good."

Selas raised his withered, stick-thin right hand, and a fine, grayish-green needle materialized at his fingertip.
