The chest is filled with worthless moldy cloth. They do, however, wrap a superb Precision Sword that grants a +1 bonus to Dexterity in combat. You also find a map of the mountain with scribbled notes. Three high peaks are circled and annotated: the western one has the note “boat?”, the northern one is crossed out, and the eastern one reads “Goblins? Investigate.” You also find 1 Gold Coin and 1d6 Coins. There is also a Beaten-Up Cauldron that you can take if you enjoy cluttering your inventory with useless items (and if you have the space). Return to the Memorized number.
