Upon hearing Yin Yang’s words, fury and terror flashed in those people’s eyes. They had witnessed the strength of these individuals and knew they not only possessed powerful superpowers but were also well-armed. Their weapons were no less formidable, otherwise, they wouldn’t have fallen into Yin Yang’s hands.
"No, don’t kill us."
"Cowards." The few who were tied up became frightened. Who wants to die if they can live?
Xu Mumu couldn’t be bothered with them. Seeing that none of them were injured, she began packing up with them, preparing to leave.
As for letting these people go, she never entertained such thoughts. Kindness to enemies is cruelty to oneself. These were not good people; if released, they might stab them in the back. It’s better to nip such dangers in the bud.
After packing up, Xu Mumu followed by Yin Yang’s side, while Yin Lin and the others led those people along.
When they returned to their residence, Yin Lin indeed threw these people into the river, where numerous mutant fish quickly devoured them.
The lake water remained black; the blood did not change its color.
Back in the courtyard, Xu Mumu noticed a crowd had appeared. She frowned slightly and looked towards Yin Chuchu to inquire about what was happening.
"Sister-in-law, I didn’t let them in; they wanted to take over our house." Yin Chuchu said angrily.
"Wow, didn’t expect there’s a beauty here," said the leader cautiously, surrounded by guards, all armed.
The leader seemed like a playboy. Yin Yang’s gaze turned cold as he looked at the man. How dare he flirt with his little wife in front of him? Was he looking for death?
"This is our house—get out." Yin Yang said coldly.
"Quite the temper, do you know who I am?" Liang Mingchuan asked while sizing up Yin Yang’s team. With just over ten people, there was nothing to fear.
Liang Mingchuan had plans. Since the apocalypse, he hadn’t seen beauties like these women.
"You don’t even know who you are—how would we know?" Yin Yang sneered.
"You...you are seeking death." Liang Mingchuan was displeased.
"Stop. Did I say you could go over there?" Liang Mingchuan said coldly as he saw Yin Chuchu and the others wanting to join Yin Yang. The guards aimed their weapons at the two.
Xu Mumu glanced at Yin Yang, who nodded, and they both acted swiftly.
Xu Mumu’s superpower was incredibly fast; in an instant, she froze several guards. Not needing to hold them for long, Yin Wanqiu used vines to tie them up.
The weapons were collected, and although Yin Yang didn’t use his superpower against Liang Mingchuan, he still gave him a beating.
"You dared to flirt with my wife, you’re tired of living." Yin Yang pummeled him, avoiding fatal spots, inflicting immense pain while keeping him conscious. Liang Mingchuan kept screaming.
The ice shattered soon after, and others helped subdue the guards.
But these people weren’t weak either. Xu Mumu noticed a Power Ability User among them who broke free from the ropes.
"Help, help me." Liang Mingchuan weakly called for help upon seeing his man break free, suddenly hopeful.
"Comrade, wait. It wasn’t us, it was Liang Mingchuan. His father is Guanghua Base’s commander, we were forced." The guard quickly explained as Yin Yang seemed ready to act again. They were no match for them, so he decisively chose sides.
"Guanghua Base? I don’t recall such a base, at least not officially." Xu Mumu narrowed her eyes slightly.
"Guanghua Base is just a small base in Shiyuan County, organized by his father and some survivors." The guard quickly provided some information about the base.
"My dad is a Level 4 superpower user; you’d better release me soon or he won’t spare you." Despite being beaten to near unconsciousness, Liang Mingchuan couldn’t resist issuing threats.
Since his father became the base commander, he was accustomed to being pampered, finding life too comfortable.
This time, he had come to Fengze County because there was a granary, but luck wasn’t on his side. The granary was already ransacked, and they were surrounded by zombies, losing more than half their men.
They only ended up here fleeing from zombies. Seeing such a large house, Liang Mingchuan planned to rest here with his men for a night.

"Level 4 superpower user, how scary." Xu Mumu smirked, her gaze sweeping over Liang Mingchuan’s followers. Most were ordinary people; superpower users usually had detectable energy fluctuations.
"Mumu, should we kill them all?" Yin Yang asked Xu Mumu.
"Killing him is enough." Xu Mumu pointed to Liang Mingchuan. As for the others, with Liang Mingchuan dead, they would struggle to report back.
The threat of pursuit didn’t daunt them. Being just a small base of county-level stature, even a Level 4 superpower user posed little threat. Their team’s weakest were Level 3, and with the Big Black Snake, they were fearless.
Before Liang Mingchuan could call for help, Yin Yang swung his weapon, ending him swiftly. His head rolled far away, intimidating those planning to take over the courtyard.
"This is our territory—everyone, leave." Yin Yang’s voice, though not loud, terrified them into fleeing. None dared linger.
The room fell silent again. Yin Yang instructed them to tidy up the courtyard. The nearby zombies had been cleared, so the area wouldn’t attract distant zombies.
Yin Yang released the remaining guards, but took their weapons.
The haul from this outing was lucrative; their armory was now more stocked than ever, and the journey ahead would still take ten more days to the destination.
"Have something to eat. You’ve been busy for so long," Xu Mumu said, bringing out food. They hadn’t even had lunch yet.
