Chapter 530 - 328: Five Bloodline Crystals

Su Ze also learned a crucial piece of information.

Although the Shadow Palace could move freely, it still had to return to the Shadow Abyss periodically to replenish its energy.

In other words, as long as one stood guard at the Shadow Abyss, the Shadow Palace would eventually return.

Su Ze’s primary enemy right now wasn’t the Filth Earth Organization, but the Nian Race, so he had no intention of lying in wait for the Shadow Palace for the time being.

However, he could leak this information to the Alien Party. He believed the Nian Race would be more than happy to attack the Filth Earth Organization’s headquarters, which would incite another major war and wear down both sides’ strength.

Of course, Su Ze didn’t plan on doing this just yet. The Filth Earth Organization was still a bit weaker compared to the Nian Race forces on the three major continents. Su Ze was worried the Nian Race would wipe out the Filth Earth Organization in one go.

As for the Filth Earth Organization’s mysterious leader, even Pulamon knew little about him. He only knew that the leader was already a Legendary-level powerhouse three to four hundred years ago, with unfathomable strength.

Furthermore, the leader was a dwarf and was said to be the very first "defiler" on Blue Star.

The Filth Earth Organization was founded single-handedly by him.

The Filth Earth Organization had not only infiltrated Ancient An Country but was doing the same on the Snowfield Continent and the Flame Emperor Continent.

However, both the Snowfield Continent and the Flame Emperor Continent were a cut below the Lin Hua Continent in terms of geographical environment and population. One could say that the Lin Hua Continent was currently the largest human settlement on Blue Star.

And Ancient An Country was the most prosperous land controlled by the Filth Earth Organization. It held extraordinary significance for them, so they wouldn’t give it up easily.

Su Ze also learned an interesting point from Pulamon’s memories: once one became a defiler, it was best to continuously absorb human extracts to become even stronger.

Each time they absorbed an extract from their own kind, their constitution and other attributes would receive a small additional boost.

That was why even if suitable beast extracts were available, the defilers would prioritize absorbing human extracts.

As for why this was the case, not even a Legendary-level defiler like Pulamon understood.

’I’ll ask King Mu later. He might know something.’

Su Ze finished sifting through Pulamon’s memories. For now, there was nothing else he particularly wanted to know.

Now, there was another problem: what to do with Pulamon?

Should he keep him by his side as a bodyguard, or release him back into the Filth Earth Organization?

Keeping him close would be like having a Legendary Combat Power with him at all times, a massive boost to his own strength.

But if he did that, the Filth Earth Organization would soon notice something was amiss and lose their trust in Pulamon. It would then be difficult for Su Ze to use Pulamon’s identity to do anything in the future.

In other words, if Pulamon stayed by Su Ze’s side, he would lose his own identity and become a complete puppet fighter.

On the other hand, sending him back to the Filth Earth Organization would mean Su Ze temporarily losing this major asset, but it would be like planting his own spy among their high-ranking members.

Su Ze was a bit greedy; he wanted to have his cake and eat it too.

If he absolutely had to choose, he leaned more toward having Pulamon follow him as his muscle.

This was mainly because his own strength was increasing too quickly. If a major Legendary Combat Power like Pulamon wasn’t by his side now, he might not need him in a few months.

In a few months, he might have become a Legendary-level powerhouse himself. By then, he could probably take on several fighters like Pulamon at once, and Pulamon would lose his greatest value.

Keeping him by his side during this period, however, could ensure his own safe growth.

After some thought, Su Ze took out Pulamon’s phone.

The Filth Earth Organization used Spirit Communication Phones. Su Ze handed the phone back to Pulamon, had him unlock it, and check his messages.

Several of his Venerable-level subordinates had sent him messages asking about his condition.

Su Ze had Pulamon reply to his closest subordinate, using his usual tone, stating that he was fine and just treating his injuries. He also asked about their situation.

After learning that his subordinates had gathered in the wilderness, Pulamon then reported to the leader of the Filth Earth Organization.

Su Ze had Pulamon report the truth, concealing only the fact that he had become Su Ze’s puppet.

The leader of the Filth Earth Organization also issued a directive: Pulamon was to gather his forces, hold their position in the wilderness, and wait for Deng Sui to retreat back to Lin Hua Country before making a move to retake Ancient An Country.

This suited Su Ze’s intentions perfectly. He arranged for Pulamon to go settle his subordinates first, then return to his side under the pretext of entering seclusion to heal his wounds.

He planned to take Pulamon with him later to explore the external inheritance site in the Myriad Beast Mountain Range.

After Pulamon left, Su Ze got up and went out to the main hall of the stronghold.

Mr. Ya had been waiting outside, observing the seven corpses.

"Boss, we’ve got a drop!" Mr. Ya exclaimed, pointing excitedly at the Bloodline Crystals next to the bodies.

Su Ze glanced over. From the seven corpses, a total of five Purple Bloodline Crystals had appeared.

This meant that two of them had not been possessed by the Nian Race but were genuine Human Race Venerable Powerhouses.

However, those who had been flagged by Chen Suifeng and his team as suspected Nian Race members were already loyal members of the Alien Party anyway. Killing them wasn’t a mistake.

Bloodline Crystals had once been incredibly precious and hard to come by. To get five at once naturally made Su Ze very happy.

Now, the source for his next tube of extract was secured.

What gave Su Ze a headache, however, was that among these five Bloodline Crystals, there were bound to be skills that suited him and skills that didn’t. How was he supposed to choose the right Bloodline Crystal for himself?
