I was chilling in front of my cactus-guarded ugly house, admiring how it looked like a lumpy green potato, when suddenly those five Adjuchas who stalked me decades ago showed up.
Yup. Them.
I could tell by their Reiatsu even if I didn't know their names yet. Long-hair guy stepped up first — later I'd know him as Shawlong Koufang, the current squad leader.
"You've gotten strong… almost Vasto Lorde material," he muttered.
I roared in response.
"GUOOOOH."
(Translation: And you're still ugly.)
Then came the moment of pure stupid.
It wasn't Shawlong who wanted a new leader — it was the other four idiots.
They looked at each other.
"Time for a change in command," one of them said.
Shawlong's face twitched like he just ate sour Hollow meat.
"No. I'm still the strongest here. He's a reckless idiot that can't even speak."
Fair argument. I mean, I can't talk. Only roar. But somehow, that didn't stop them.
"Let's vote!"

Spike o' Sensei (the cactus): did a little leaf wiggle.

And like a true idiot, I pointed my claw at Shawlong too.

Final tally: 6 for me, 2 for Shawlong.
And just like that — the dumbest coup in Hueco Mundo history.
"Result's clear. Big green scream is boss now."
I roared furiously.

(Translation: HELL NO! I DIDN'T EVEN RUN!)

And I froze.
