Chapter 1938 - 387: The Distant Land They Pursue XXVI_2

But what he couldn't achieve, there were certain beings around him that could. That is Miss Tata—created by Alchemists, designed to simulate the soul of the strongest creatures in this world—Artificial Dragon Soul.

They possess only spiritual attributes, seemingly born to exist in this world.

Although when manipulating Flexible Constructs, Miss Tata's calculative power appears similar to his, it's actually just because his own limitations constrained Miss Dragon Soul's potential.

The strength of the Dragon's Soul is incomparable to mortals, even if the Artificial Dragon Soul isn't on par with the genuine Nature Dragon Spirit, the difference is far from being a matter of magnitude.

Fang Hong's heart settled.

When it comes to individual strength, at just over twenty levels, he would inevitably close his eyes and await death before the Phantom of a Dark Dragon King. But if it were a contest of the strength of one's Dragon Soul, Fang Hong never harbored even the slightest doubt about Miss Tata's prowess.

To him, Miss Dragon Soul was a unique existence, especially since Great God Ye Hua stated that Miss Tata ought to be a fairly powerful Dragon Soul. He naturally agreed with this conclusion.

He simply gazed silently into those eyes beneath the swirling black mist, seemingly ablaze with golden flames, and now it was time for the experiment.

The gold light that shot out earlier now sliced through the hall. And two elegant, actualized silver Swordsmen appeared as if out of nowhere in front of the Dark Giant Dragon, flashing from the mid-air from left and right—

Lifegard's strike fell short, leaving it somewhat puzzled as it gazed at the shield flashing with eerie blue light beneath its claws. Though merely a Phantom imagined by Seniman, it still inherited the cunning of that Dark Giant Dragon in life.

—Or to be precise, it inherited the cunning and caution depicted in the poems and stories, passed mouth to mouth in the tales of the legendary Dark Dragon King. Seniman was not truly born in that era, but as a Dark Follower, he was naturally well-versed in everything about the Giant War.

He even eagerly hoped his masters could rise again from their dark slumber. In fact, what the Blind Followers were doing wasn't much different from what the Dragon Worshippers were occupied with.

And now, in the Phantom of this Dark Dragon King's confused glowing gaze, the two silver Swordsmen appearing suddenly in mid-air were already launching an attack, coming front and back.

It was a silver flash induced by a Thrust, even at Lifegard's phantom's agility of at least an A-grade rating, it barely managed to lift its paws. The silver gleam flickered, intersecting and bypassing it, causing the first claw of the Dark Giant Dragon extended out to shatter.

The broken claw was like a long dagger, a clear sound echoed upon hitting the floor, resembling the sound of metal.

The Energy Angel landed lightly, then turned around, posing for another attack. Meanwhile, the second silver Swordsman slipped past Lifegard's raised paw, tracing a rain of blood.

Lifegard raised its head and let out a howl.

This scene was enough to make anyone familiar with the Energy Angel constructs drop their eyeballs on the ground. How could such a mere seventeen-level construct burst with such Speed? Not to mention, their Attack Power shouldn't have been enough to break through a Dark Giant Dragon's defense.

Moreover, the two Energy Angels were in mid-air, launching a Charge without any leverage, clearly not a Blink ability, for Blink merely transports you from one coordinate to another—without the intermediary process.

Two silver flashes raced past again, Lifegard howled repeatedly, leaving another two blood marks on its paws, retreating in outrage.

Fang Hong watched the scene, coldly.

He only needed to imagine the Energy Angels possessing such Speed, similar to how Star can endlessly expand Yinhanz Type Four's spell range and effect, for once desired, Miss Tata could realize—

Now he finally understood why controlling his Energy Angels prior, he felt their Speed and Agility enhanced significantly. Because merely having those thoughts automatically exert influence over everything in this world.

The backing naturally is the support of mental capacity.

Although he couldn't imagine the Fire Giant from thin air, boosting his Construct's Speed and Agility was indeed achievable.

And the current principle remains consistent, just exaggerated under Miss Tata's calculative backing.

He's unsure if Miss Tata's prowess exceeds Seniman's, but the latter has already divided his power into seven parts, committing eighty percent to contend against Ye Hua and Star. Hence just being one among them, Fang Hong believes his Miss Dragon Soul should manage easily.

The fact indeed aligns.

Lifegard continued retreating, roaring incessantly, wounds multiplying over its body, seemingly about to collapse at any moment.

Fang Hong never engaged in combat as effortlessly as now, controlling the Energy Angels without the need for complex maneuvering, merely letting a thought pass in his mind for the Constructs to perfectly replicate his intentions.

The Dark Dragon King's Phantom finally backed into a dead-end, a row of stone pillars sealing its retreat route, while the two Energy Angels blocked its front from left and right. They hadn't initiated an attack yet, but Fang Hong silently watched that direction, amidst the darkness a golden flash was seen, and the earlier Fire Giant finally struck the stone pillars after traversing half the hall.
