White’s figure vanished from where he stood, yet before he could even reappear,
"KRRRRAAAAAAAAAAA!"
A guttural screech erupted across the battlefield as Elder Wendigo Asalt finally moved.
The towering skeletal creature raised one elongated arm toward White, its black claws spreading wide as the endless darkness leaking from its hollow eye sockets suddenly flooded outward.
It didn’t just target White alone, but the entire sky where they fought, dimming the world until even the sunlight disappeared.
An unnatural darkness swallowed thousands of kilometers in every direction, followed by an incredible coldness as the temperature plummeted.
The darkness didn’t bother White at all. If anything, it felt like home... but the cold.
’This isn’t just darkness. It’s... the consumption of heat and life.’
He paused and turned back, noticing every single strand of all energy, Essence, Infinity Energy, and every other form of power, being devoured by the abyss pouring endlessly from Asalt’s body.
The atmosphere itself became deathly still.
Then, all at once,
Asalt disappeared, yet there was no reverberation of air from his movement, simply because there was no movement to perceive.
The Alphanomalous Creature simply ceased existing within the darkness before suddenly emerging directly behind White.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
Its impossibly long claws swept forward, and the heavens split apart as five black tears stretched across the sky itself, ripping toward White.
Immediately, he turned, his image blurring four times in rapid succession, allowing him to evade four of the five claws in less than a blink.
Yet,
SSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Darkness immediately began spreading across his robe as one of the claws managed to graze his shoulder.
One would expect a cut upon the robe, but there was no such thing.
The fabric White had woven from darkness itself simply began vanishing from existence where the claw had touched, stopping only after devouring nearly twenty centimeters of it.
"...Interesting."
White mused in amusement, his ears twitching before his image glitched once more.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
...
Endless scars covered the entire sky as hundreds upon hundreds of claw images decorated the heavens.
Each one carried the devastating ability to simply erase whatever it touched, forcing even the surrounding Alphanomalous Creatures to retreat farther away from the battlefield.
If even one of those claws touched them, they would be severely weakened.
The Elder Wendigo’s life-devouring ability was, after all, one of the most terrifying powers among all twelve of them, and one they would never willingly allow themselves to be struck by.
As the battle between the two raged on, the abyss pouring from the Elder Wendigo continued spreading, devouring all life energy in its path, while countless life-devouring claw marks filled the entire sky.
Eventually, the darkness completely swallowed both combatants, forming a cocoon of pitch black that concealed them from everyone’s sight.
The others could no longer see the battle, but they could only hear it.
Slash after slash echoing relentlessly from within the abyss, the constant barrage making it clear the Elder Wendigo had gained the upper hand.
But before any of them could relax, another sound suddenly took over.
One that resonated like an atomic bomb being dropped.
Then, all at once,
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
A massive hole was blasted open through the cocoon of darkness as a hulking body shot out with terrifying speed.
It slammed straight into the chest of the Primordial Werewolf Fruga, knocking both of them backward for over a hundred meters before the werewolf finally dug his claws into the ground hard enough to force himself to a stop.
It looked down at the being in his arms, and its breath froze.
It was Elder Wendigo Asalt.
Or rather, what remained of him.
The ivory bones that had covered his body had been pulverized into powder, while deep cracks ran across the few pieces that still remained intact.
It was as though the Alphanomalous Creature had been forced through a colossal crushing machine and barely survived the process.
Most horrifying of all, the head was missing!
"I have to give it to you all..."
The words resounded from within the dark domain, which was already beginning to recede as White stepped out from the darkness.
This time, his pitch-black robe had completely disappeared, revealing his full six-armed form.
One of those hands held an object:
The severed head of Elder Wendigo Asalt, whose hollow eye sockets had already dimmed into lifeless darkness.
"I said I would kill the Fallen Angel first... but you pressured me enough to go against my own words and kill this Wendigo first."
"You all are indeed Alphanomalous Creatures... Hehehehehe!"
A loud, mocking cackle burst from White’s lips as he released the head, allowing it to plummet from the sky.
Out of the twelve...
One had finally fallen.
"YOU WILL PAY FOR KILLING ASALT!"
The furious roar blasted across the battlefield, followed by a deafening explosion as the space beneath White’s feet suddenly erupted upward.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The ground beneath the battlefield exploded skyward, and it wasn’t from impact, but from weight.
Pure, horrifying weight.
An impossible pressure erupted beneath White as an enormous obsidian fist burst upward from the earth itself.
It was the Original Titan Lomen.
His colossal arm swung upward with mountain-shattering force and connected squarely beneath White’s ribs.
KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
White was launched to the side, his body tearing through dozens of kilometers of atmosphere before finally bringing himself to a halt.
When he did, the Titan was already waiting.
Both hands were held high above its head, fingers interlocked into a single massive fist.
Its colossal spine arched backward before its enormous arms came crashing down toward White.
BUUUUUUUUUURRRST!
Red flames erupted from the Titan’s fists due to the terrifying friction as the colossal blow descended.
White slowly raised two of his arms upward to meet it.
KAAAABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The atmosphere compressed around the point of impact until both colliding arms resembled two black suns wrapped within continents of pressure.
The surrounding air folded inward before exploding outward in every direction, the resulting shockwave flattening mountain ranges far below.
"GRRRAAAAAAAAAAA!"
The Original Titan roared in fury, forcing even more power through its fists and gradually driving White downward, inch by inch.
"Interesting... really interesting."
White muttered with a smile, feeling the unimaginable weight pressing against his arms.
To overpower me physically...
This Titan truly deserves its title.
But then,
VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
A sudden flash.
White’s image vanished from beneath the Original Titan’s fists, leaving the enormous attack to continue unhindered.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Two earth-shattering explosions followed.
The first came as the Original Titan’s fists slammed into the earth, driving deep into the planet’s crust and forcing entire tectonic plates to violently shift beneath the overwhelming pressure.
The second came from White smashing straight through a mountain, carving a gigantic tunnel through its center before bursting out the opposite side.
His feet struck the ground, dragging across the earth for over ten miles before he finally came to a stop.
When he did, a grin slowly spread across his face.
He turned to the side and firmly held within one of his hands was a massive golden trident nearly three meters in length, its three razor-sharp prongs still trembling violently only inches from his face.
The weapon struggled endlessly, trying to pierce into him, but it was a futile endeavor, as darkness slowly spread from White’s hand, covering every inch of the trident’s surface.
The violent trembling gradually ceased.
Then...
It became completely still.
"Did... did he just take control of my Atlas Trident!?"
The Leviathan King Noxul stared in disbelief.
His enormous hand reached forward as he attempted to use his Essence to recall the trident.
Nothing happened.
The connection between himself and the divine weapon had seemingly been swallowed by another force entirely.
"You want it?"
White asked from the distance.
He stepped forward, gripping the trident with two hands before drawing it far behind his back.
"You can have it."
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The ground beneath Whiter cratered as he took a single step forward and flung the trident forward.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
Space itself was ripped apart, and a massive black hole opened before the trident, swallowing it instantly.
In the next moment, it reappeared directly before Leviathan King Noxul.
The colossal sea monstrosity reacted instantly, sending countless octopus-like tentacles surging forward to form an enormous living wall while brilliant runic barriers bloomed layer upon layer before him.
Yet,
BAAAAAANG!
CRAAACK!
The Atlas Trident collided with overwhelming force, cracks instantly spread across every runic barrier.
SHATTTTERRR!
The barriers exploded into countless fragments, and the trident tore through the wall of tentacles as though they didn’t exist before ultimately burying itself deep into three of the Leviathan King’s enormous eyes.
ROOOOOOOAAAR!
A roar of unbearable pain shook the heavens, as five massive tentacles were severed completely, crashing down upon the earth like collapsing mountains.
Leviathan King Noxul was hurled violently backward, his own divine weapon buried deep within his monstrous body.
...
