STEP!
STEP!
STEP!
Heavy footsteps tremored through the earth as the Leviathan King Noxul was forced back, yet he wasn’t given the chance to dwell on his pain.
His hairs stood on end as he felt the petrifying wave of darkness that was rushing towards him, a pair of predatory ringed white eyes staring right at him from within
If he tried to remove the trident, the darkness would reach him, and by the devil, he could almost smell his own death if that was to happen.
ROOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!
Roaring loudly, his four remaining tentacles shot out from beneath him, piercing forward like sharpened pillars towards White, who never even bothered to dodge.
He simply continued his speed, ripping straight through one of the tentacles like a knife through butter, automatically dodging the other four.
But then,
BOOOOOOOOM!
BOOOOOOOOOM!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Before he could reach the Leviathan, he felt the ground beneath him begin to shake as though a massive earthquake were approaching.
Except it wasn’t an earthquake.
Every stride of the charging beast crushed the Earth beneath its hooves.
Vast craters were left in its wake as molten cracks burst open across the battlefield, rivers of lava forcing their way through the fractured ground.
Entire hills buckled beneath the pressure of its charge, while shockwaves rolled outward in every direction, reducing already shattered ruins into clouds of dust before they could even finish collapsing.
From the periphery of his vision, White could see the one responsible, a massive pitch-black bull with burning red horns that were currently lowered to the ground as it ran forward.
If he continued to step forward and attack the Leviathan King, then the only fate that awaited him was being pierced straight through by those horns.
The aim was clear, to make him back off from finishing the injured Leviathan King, but White didn’t back up. Instead, he did the exact opposite.
A blue halo rippled outward from him, and his speed reached a terrifying level as Limitless Interval activated, slowing the world around him, including the charging bull.
He reached the Leviathan King first.
Driven by fear, the Alphanomalous Supernatural threw both of its arms toward White, who calmly raised his own hands, seized them tightly, and, without warning, violently jerked backward.
The motion made the Leviathan King violently lurch forward, right onto the charge of the bull that was coming.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
All watched as the charging Infernal Behemoth Molgrath used his own horns to rip apart the Leviathan King Noxul into two halves, blood and gore bursting into the air.
For the briefest instant, the battlefield fell silent.
The impossible scene was burned into the eyes of every Supernatural present. Flesh, shattered bone, and black blood raining from the sky as both halves of the Leviathan King’s body were hurled apart by the sheer momentum of the charge.
The force carried the two halves dozens of meters away before they crashed into the broken landscape, crushing what little remained of the surrounding terrain beneath them.
White dropped the upper body he had in hand down, looking at the Leviathan King who was still struggling to come to terms with reality.
It never got the chance before a leg was raised up and then.
CRAAAACK!
PUUCCCHII!
White’s leg pierced right through its chest, and the creature’s heart burst into pieces.
But of course, it was still breathing, even with all of the injuries, but with his leg inside its body, a wave of darkness began to spread all through its body, and all at once, the Leviathan King turned pitch black, the rest of his body dissolving into ashes.
The darkness consuming Noxul refused to stop with his body alone.
It spread across the blood staining the battlefield, swallowing every fragment of flesh it touched until even the scattered remains dissolved into drifting black ash.
Moments later, the wind swept the ashes away, leaving behind only scorched earth where the mighty Leviathan King had once stood.
"He had fallen... Noxul has also fallen."
The Infernal Behemoth Molgrath called out in disbelief, unable to believe he had just played a hand in the death of a fellow Supernatural.
"Yes..."
The words suddenly echoed behind him, making his body freeze.
"...And you’ll be following him soon."
VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The air was blown backward as Molgrath slammed out its own two back legs, completely skewering White apart, but it was only an afterimage.
"Watch Out!"
A powerful scream reached the Alphanomalous Supernatural, and it followed the voice, turning its head up to find White descending downward with his fist burning with darkness.
Jerking his back, White smashed down his right fist, and it connected solidly with Molgrath’s head with such power that his entire head was driven straight through the Earth, his body naturally following.
The impact alone sent an eruption of rock bursting hundreds of meters into the air.
The Earth folded inward around Molgrath’s buried head, forming a colossal crater as fractures raced outward across the battlefield like spiderwebs.
Even those standing far away found themselves struggling to keep their footing beneath the overwhelming force of the blow.
White raised another fist, preparing to end it, but then.
VROOOOOOOOM!
VROOOOOOOOOOOM!
The air shook twice and two creatures appeared on both sides, followed by two massive claws cleaving at White.
A grin opened up on White’s lips as he smashed out two punches with two arms to the side, blocking both claws of the Vampire Lord Damon, and another two punches to the other side, blocking the claw strike of the Primordial Werewolf Fruga.
Then, his two remaining arms ignited with more darkness energy than he had unleashed at any point since the battle began.
A darkness so dark that for a second, light seemed to stop existing in this world, and when they descended down and collided right onto the head of Molgrath.
Nothing could stop it, not the lava that burst out from the bull’s head to make White back off, neither were the layers of armour it had on.
The punches drilled straight through the skull, pierced straight through its brain, and before White’s hands reached the ground, the darkness had already spread through the Alphanomalous creature’s body, reducing its entire head to darkness.
The corruption surged downward with terrifying speed.
Molten lava flowing through the beast’s body instantly dimmed into lifeless black as the darkness devoured everything in its path.
Cracks spread across the Infernal Behemoth’s colossal frame before sections of its armored hide began collapsing into ash, the once-unstoppable giant remaining frozen for a heartbeat before its enormous corpse toppled sideways with a thunderous crash that shook the battlefield once more.
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!
A powerful screech burst outward as a being suddenly appeared inches away from White, unleashing a sonic wave right in front of his face.
Even though White had faced the scream of the Banshee Queen Screecha before, it didn’t make the second time any more enduring.
If anything, it was even worse, and he found his own entire weight being lifted off the ground as he was sent flying off into the distance, slamming again and again into the ground before he dragged himself to a stop.
Vampire Lord Damon and Primordial Werewolf Fruga were unaffected by the scream despite being so close to White, allowing them to look beneath them.
There lay the Infernal Behemoth Molgrath, his entire head long reduced to ashes, every trace of life already faded away.
The sight of it made them all suck in a breath of horror.
Their confidence had completely disappeared.
Only moments ago, they had still believed that with enough coordination, enough sacrifices, and enough Alphanomalous fighting together, they could eventually wear White down.
Now, not a single one of them could bring themselves to believe such a thing anymore, as every exchange had only reinforced one terrifying truth:
The closer they came to him, the closer they came to death.
White forced himself up onto his feet, his annoyed eyes locking right onto the Banshee Queen Screecha.
But then, a glint crossed his ringed white eyes, wiping away the annoyance and leaving behind only amusement.
"I heard that Banshees could predict the death of a being before he or she even dies?"
White said, cracking one of his shoulders, and in the next moment they all suddenly watched as his image faded into ashes.
"Where did he...?"
The words froze on the lips of Primordial Werewolf Fruga as he found White standing before him, directly facing the Banshee Queen Screecha before any of them could even move a muscle.
White’s ringed white eyes stared into the milky white eyes of the Banshee Queen and out came the whispered.
"That makes me wonder, can you feel your own death coming, Banshee Queen Screecha?"
