The ground beneath White disappeared.
The instant all six weapons collided against the chained ball he held before himself, an explosion of overwhelming brute force erupted in every direction, driving the enormous Devil straight through the shattered crust of the planet.
Mountains collapsed inward and oceans of molten rock burst violently from beneath the world, yet even that failed to halt the assault, because the six Death Generals dove after him the very instant, he vanished beneath the surface.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Each colossal body crashed directly into the expanding crater after him, their gigantic weapons descending one after another without the slightest pause.
Every impact drove White deeper into the planet while the surrounding crust folded inward beneath the accumulated force until the underground world itself became nothing more than an endless collapsing cavern.
The Greatsword was the first to arrive.
CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!
Its edge carved violently across White’s shoulder, forcing his enormous body even deeper before the executioner’s axe immediately followed, smashing directly into his crossed arms with enough force to split apart the cavern they had already created.
Before White could even stabilize himself beneath that crushing momentum, the flail was already upon him.
FLICCCCCKER!
The countless runes engraved across its enormous iron sphere ignited brilliantly before the weapon crashed into his ribs, folding his gigantic body sideways and sending him ricocheting violently through layer upon layer of solid black stone.
He had barely begun tumbling before the trident thrust forward.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
Its three enormous prongs pierced cleanly through his left thigh before the Death General wielding it twisted violently, ripping away an enormous portion of flesh as blue blood erupted throughout the underground abyss.
The pain barely had time to register.
The twin crimson scythes had already arrived, crossing one another with terrifying precision as both blades swept across his torso before curving back around in the same motion, every strike aimed not at wounding him, but at severing his limbs completely.
White reacted immediately, two of his remaining hands snapping around the shaft of one scythe and stopping it only inches away from his neck through brute force alone, but while one blade had been halted, the second never slowed in the slightest.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
Its crimson edge carved straight across his back, opening a wound so deep that several ribs became visible beneath the torrent of black blood erupting from the injury, and before either combatant could create even the slightest distance between themselves, another shadow had already descended from above.
The Death Generals fought with absolutely no regard for one another.
The executioner’s axe came crashing downward once again despite another commander standing directly beneath its path.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Both White and the unfortunate Death General disappeared beneath the impact together as the Centaur commander’s body split apart instantly beneath its ally’s own weapon, its head vanishing before the lingering Anti-Life aura devoured whatever fragments remained.
Neither White nor the surviving commanders spared the slightest attention toward the casualty.
The instant the axe lifted once more, another spear had already thrust downward through the dust cloud, followed immediately by the greatsword sweeping horizontally through the underground abyss with enough force to cleave apart kilometers of bedrock.
Eventually, the relentless bombardment settled into an eerie stillness. Dust, shattered continents, and droplets of blue blood drifted silently throughout the underground world as the Death Generals stared toward the crater beneath them, waiting for the Devil below to finally cease moving.
Instead...
"Hehehehe..."
A quiet chuckle echoed beneath the ruined earth.
Blood slowly trickled from the corner of White’s mouth before dripping onto the fractured stone beneath him, yet his breathing remained completely steady as one of his remaining hands continued resting against the executioner’s axe that had buried him, while the fingers of the other gradually loosened their grip.
Slowly, his head rose and then his eyes opened.
The two ringed white irises illuminated the underground abyss with a radiance that wasn’t merely bright, but violently overwhelming, piercing through layer after layer of shattered stone before erupting from the crater itself and blasting a colossal pillar of light straight through the planet until it reached the heavens beyond.
Every surviving Death General instinctively turned toward that pillar, and for the first time since the battle had begun, their relentless advance came to a complete halt as White slowly straightened beneath the mountain of rubble burying him, stone sliding from his shoulders while rivers of molten rock flowed around his feet.
The grin stretching across his monstrous face widened ever so slightly.
"Finally..."
His voice echoed quietly throughout the underground world.
"This is beginning to feel like a proper battle."
The words had barely finished leaving his mouth before,
VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The planet exploded upward, as White himself tore through countless kilometers of shattered earth like a projectile launched from the world’s core, instantly appearing before the nearest Death General before its widened eyes could even comprehend where he had gone.
Its instincts screamed, and the gigantic greatsword immediately rose, every crimson rune engraved upon the blade erupting to life as the Anti-Life aura condensed toward its edge until even the surrounding space quietly vanished from contact alone, yet White never slowed, his remaining fist colliding head-on against the descending weapon.
KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The collision bent the colossal blade completely sideways before White’s fist continued straight through it, shattering the weapon apart and crashing directly into the Death General’s chest, its ribcage imploding beneath the overwhelming impact.
Even then, the commander refused to retreat, instead lunging forward with its gigantic maw.
CRUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH!
Rows of black teeth buried themselves deep into White’s shoulder before twisting violently.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
An enormous portion of his shoulder disappeared together with chunks of flesh as black blood exploded into the air, but White’s expression never changed.
His remaining hand shot upward, clamping around the Centaur’s lower jaw while another seized its upper skull.
The Death General realizing the danger tried to pull away but,
"GRAAAAAAAAGH!"
KRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Its entire head was ripped vertically into two unequal halves before White hurled both pieces toward another charging commander, though the corpse hadn’t even begun falling before the executioner’s axe was already descending once more.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The colossal weapon smashed directly across White’s ribs, finally succeeding in launching his gigantic body sideways through three mountain ranges before the commander vanished after him.
Another Death General had already moved into position, its gigantic trident thrust forward.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
All three prongs pierced completely through White’s abdomen before the wielder roared and lifted him high into the sky, leaving him suspended there just long enough for the flail to arrive.
KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The gigantic iron sphere crashed directly into White’s side while he remained skewered upon the trident, nearly folding his monstrous body in half as ribs shattered throughout his torso and one of his remaining arms hung uselessly by his side.
The Death Generals pressed even harder, twisting the trident as the Anti-Life aura erupted directly within his body, continuously erasing every strand of flesh that attempted to regenerate around the wound.
Yet...White smiled, and the Death General wielding the trident suddenly froze.
Only now did it realize that White’s remaining hand had already wrapped itself around the shaft of the weapon.
"You shouldn’t..."
White muttered quietly.
"...hold onto your weapon."
CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!
The gigantic Death General was violently ripped from its footing as White swung with all his strength, turning both the commander and its trident into nothing more than an enormous club before smashing it directly into the flail wielder.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The impact burst both ribcages apart, yet White never stopped swinging, using one corpse to repeatedly bludgeon the other until every collision crushed more bones and burst more flesh, continuing until neither body remotely resembled living creatures before finally releasing them and allowing both mangled corpses to disappear beyond the horizon.
Only five remained, yet the battlefield granted them no time to mourn, because twin crimson scythes were already crossing behind White.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
Both blades severed his fifth arm completely before continuing onward to carve another deep wound across his spine.
The commander never paused to celebrate.
Instead, it launched into another relentless barrage as the twin scythes blurred into thousands of crimson arcs, every strike carrying enough Anti-Life power to erase entire sections of White’s body.
White endured every one of them, one slash becoming two, two becoming seven, and seven becoming twenty-three.
By the time the relentless assault ended, his gigantic body had become nothing more than a mass of wounds refusing to heal beneath the lingering Anti-Life aura.
Yet instead of retreating, White suddenly stepped forward, slipping directly inside the commander’s guard as the next scythe swept harmlessly behind him.
Its four crimson eyes widened as Whit’s lone remaining hand didn’t reach toward its weapon, but towards its throat instead.
GRAB!
The commander immediately hacked downward with both scythes.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
White’s final left arm separated cleanly from his shoulder and spun away into the blood-filled heavens, but the sacrifice had already been made.
His remaining right hand never loosened around the commander’s throat.
The Centaur stepped back repeatedly yet, White grin widened,
"...Got you."
The words barely escaped his maw before his fingers tightened.
KRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
The entire neck collapsed inward before the head burst apart inside his grip, the gigantic corpse convulsing violently as it crashed lifelessly toward the shattered planet below.
Only four Death Generals remained, all of them staring toward the blood-covered Devil standing before them.
The once six-armed monster had been reduced to a single remaining arm, while wounds covered nearly every inch of his colossal body, blue blood raining endlessly from injuries that refused to regenerate beneath the lingering Anti-Life aura.
