When Lincoln stepped through the door, I was sucked into unknowing thoughts .
Prior to hearing his voice .
Why didn't you let me know that Ashley is your Mate ? He questioned, I believe, with a range in his voice mixed with jealously .
" Like really ? " I inquired, assuming he was kidding . Considering that he has no right to question me in such manner .
I'm not making jokes with you,Shiela . He yelled . The fact that he uses my entire name shows that he is not joking .
And two, I detest when people yell at me . People who aren't in the right place shouldn't question me .
He is also aware of my dislike for it . He isn't really joking with what he's doing .
" Lincoln . If you're kidding, stop right there and sit down because we need to talk about something important . I said while erect .
Can you please stop talking and respond to my question, Shiela ? My blood began to boil as she yelled once more .
What, are you envious ? I queried . " Jealous ? Shiela , jealousy is not the solution to my query . said Lincoln .
What is it that you wish to hear ?
I questioned as I arched an eyebrow at him .
Was he there when you first felt your period ? When you were harmed, was he there ?
Was he there to provide you solace when you needed it ?
He queried .
Already, his queries annoyed me . because I'm not sure where he's going .
Are you my father ? Exactly who are you ? Are you my friend or my older brother, or what ? " I queried .
What kind of a query is that ?
He inquired angrily .
You shouldn't get heated up over him becoming my mate if you aren't on the list I just gave, I said .

He prompted me to hit him for the trash he had just spilled .
" We weren't there ! " I yelled .
I will urge you to leave my room this time because there's no f**king us ! I yelled while pointing towards the barely open door .
I was there when that son of a bitch wasn't present, so you've got to be kidding me,Shiela .
Pointing at himself, he said .
I remained with you while he was absent ! He yelled and threw the necklace I had given him for his birthday to the ground .
" Just because he recently witnessed your assistance to him doesn't mean he loves you ! "
If not with Athena, " he will still engage in sexual activity; he will locate another girl who can satisfy his desire . "
He's not good enough for you, so get up !
He yelled .
" Enough ! Enough of your garbage, get out of my room ! " I yelled while gesturing toward the door .
" He may not be perfect for me, but I can still manage him . He is my friend . Be sure to remember that ! "
I yelled as I shooed him from my room and slammed the door shut in his face .
I sobbed and slid onto my bed . He is correct . The man I'm battling for is a male whore and not worth it .
He'll continue to wander and snooze like a male dog .
He will continue to act in his own way no matter how hard I battle for him and his affection .
Because Lincoln caused me to lose one of my greatest friends, I should not have battled for him .
the best buddy who has always been there to comfort me when I need someone to cry on their shoulder .
I simply can't leave my Mate once he marks me, and I never urge him to develop feelings for me or fall in love with me .
I should have seen this coming, I'm so f**ked up . I considered sobbing into my pillow as my heart continued to crumble .
Shiela , how are you doing ? Through our mind link, I could hear Ashley asking with concern in his voice .
He is currently the least of my problems, thus I choose not to respond .
He must have sensed my grief as a result of our relationship .
He kept calling for a while, but when he realized I wasn't answering, he ended the call .
After some time
I didn't bother looking up till I smelled it after hearing my door open and close and assuming it was Glinda or Lincoln doing it .
