The group was deeply moved by Yin Yang’s words; they desperately wanted a decent weapon.
Right now, they’re not so afraid of zombies since half of the team consists of superpower users and the rest are regular people. The superpower users have better physical abilities compared to the average person, and these regular people have been specially trained by the Yin Family, so their physical fitness is superior.
Yin Yang intentionally instructs them to hide their superpowers and not use them since their abilities are currently too low-level to deal with these zombies.
After clearing out the zombies on the first floor, some zombies start to slowly come down from the second-floor stairway. The electrical appliances aren’t working, so the elevator is unavailable; they can only use the stairs. The hospital has a total of eight spacious floors, just a single building.
Xu Mumu swiftly kills the zombies near the stairs and then shuts the door to the second-floor staircase, thus halting the zombies that were keenly rushing down.
"I’m so tired." Yin Chuchu slumped directly to the ground, completely exhausted.
"Let’s rest for a while, then look for the Crystal Core," Yin Yang told the group, echoing what his little wife said. The Crystal Core might become currency in the future, so naturally, it’s better to gather more at the beginning.
The group obediently listened. On the journey, the formidable fighting prowess of Yin Yang and Xu Mumu had thoroughly won everyone over. Following them meant being part of their powerful team, which reduced the danger. Alone, they wouldn’t stand a chance against many, and the zombies would definitely pick them off one by one.
Once they had rested enough, the group went to dig for the Crystal Core.
The scene was still rather indescribable; Xu Mumu quietly turned her face away and pulled up her mask a bit, the stench was overwhelming.
Yin Chuchu and Yin Lin also looked desperately away, with Yin Lin even helping crack open the zombies’ skulls, intensifying the odor.
This time they made quite a good haul, retrieving more than a dozen Zombie Crystal Cores.
The little elf in the space happily hugged a Crystal Core, nibbling on it bit by bit, cleansing its violent energy to make the core’s energy more pleasant.
With every Crystal Core she consumed, she felt her spirit form gaining strength, and it was a delightful sensation. Moreover, as Xu Mumu and the others killed zombies, the Reincarnation Jade was rapidly charging, much faster than when they had performed good deeds in their past life.

There were plenty of zombies on the second floor too. The team had become adept at slaying them, having killed so many zombies, and the squad’s cohesion was gradually developing.
The number of zombies on the second floor was large, and just as Xu Mumu and the team were nearing the end of their fight, four people suddenly burst from a ward.
"Help! Please save us!" Seeing people clearing zombies in the hospital, they were excited and hurriedly dashed out after peeking through the door crack and seeing fewer zombies around.
Since the apocalypse hit, the hospital has been flooded with zombies. They narrowly escaped by hiding in the ward, but the food supplies within were limited. After being unconscious for a day when the world changed, they had been stuck there for three more days, having eaten all the available food. If they stayed any longer, they would starve to death.
Luckily, Yin Yang and the team arrived, and to these people, they seemed like saviors.
Xu Mumu’s expression turned slightly grim; the noise those people made was attracting all the zombies on the second floor, and even a considerable amount from the third floor too.
There were survivors on the third floor as well, and the clamor not only drew the third floor’s zombies down but also prompted the third floor’s people to continuously shout for help.
"Sis-in-law, should we help them?" Yin Chuchu asked quietly, having seen over time that her brother always listened to his wife’s decisions.
"Don’t make any noise," Yin Yang’s face also showed displeasure.
"Save me, my dad is..." A girl gazed brightly at Yin Yang, thinking her savior was really handsome, like a prince from a novel.
Unfortunately, she was cut off by Yin Yang before she could finish.
"If anyone speaks again, I’ll cut them," Yin Yang coldly warned them.
Yin Yang’s sword was still smeared with dark, sticky zombie matter, making it unrecognizable.
Xu Mumu calmly continued slaying zombies. With the apocalypse, respect came with power, and having the Reincarnation Jade and the early return, she was confident she’d become a strong figure.
Yin Yang’s fierce and menacing demeanor successfully frightened them, leaving them speechless.
With no more noisy distractions, Xu Mumu’s movements in killing zombies became even quicker.
Zombies fell one by one, their heads rolling far away, and when these people started to scream, Xu Mumu’s sword swayed. They instantly quieted again.
After clearing the zombies for over ten minutes, Yin Yang told these people to fend for themselves and go wherever they wanted.
"We don’t have the time to protect you while leaving. There’s a parking garage below; find a car and leave yourself," Yin Yang said indifferently.
"We can’t go; there are so many zombies outside," said a sharp voice of a middle-aged woman who was too scared to take such a step.
"We’re not your parents; we have no obligation to save you. If you don’t want to leave, suit yourself," Yin Yang glanced at those obviously unwilling and didn’t bother speaking more. They could go wherever they pleased.
With people around, Yin Lin wanted to search for Crystal Cores, but Yin Yang stopped him, not wanting too many people to know about the cores yet.
Yin Yang and the team headed to the third floor, and these people wanted to follow. The Yin Family squad ignored them altogether.
Once on the third floor, they were met by a swarm of zombies, and these people ran back downstairs in fear, not daring to follow.
Only the girl who tried to reveal her family stayed close, trying to hide near Yin Yang as zombies approached.
"Help! Zombies are coming, save me!" Fang Linlin was terrified.
"Get lost." Yin Yang wasn’t the kind-hearted type. Back in the countryside, he played the part, restrained by circumstances. Now, with the world in chaos and having strength and resources, he lacked no ambition.
Yin Yang roughly kicked her toward the stairwell; with his superpower awakened, his physical abilities had drastically improved, and he was reveling in the joy of possessing power.
"Ah!" Fang Linlin screamed in pain. She thought she was attractive, and every man she encountered took pity on her. Even while hiding in the ward, she just had to play the pitiful damsel, and they would leave her some food.
