Chapter 272: The Gordon 342 Battle Suit

The president pinched at the air, dragging a new model holographic display into view.

The display showed the six mecha models shifting to the side...

Seth stared at the holographic view, examining the simulated display flickering before him.

He knew what this was... a genetic battle suit, well at least the washed‑up version of the genetic suits he knew.

From what he could see, this was just a raw exoskeletal armor, built based on advanced human technology, with no basis of genetic runes.

Meaning it didn’t qualify to be named as a genetic armament at the very least.

But that didn’t mean it wasn’t impressive. Since this construct wouldn’t be an origin item but man‑made instead, it wouldn’t be able to provide stat boosts in the literal sense.

But it would be able to boost the prowess of evolvers by a large margin through raw physics alone.

Glancing beside the pristine armor display, there sat myriad weapon models, obviously energized weapon systems meant to be paired with these exo suits.

Seth had to say he was struck... "So this will be our battle gear?" He asked, still closely examining the 3D model.

And the president nodded. "But there is only one problem. This is a special suit model called Gordon 342, a gift from our Canadian allies. While these units are ready for mass production, there is still the problem of physical capabilities!"

Seth’s gaze lit, understanding what the president meant. "So you’re saying even Shackled Realm evolvers won’t be able to use it?"

The president nodded, then shook his head. "Not only that, even initial early‑stage Awakeners aren’t going to be able to pilot it. The sheer physical requirements needed will at least demand an Awakened with above 100 general stats."

He explained, staring at Seth...

And Seth saw where this conversation was going. It seemed he would have to help the bunch of new bloods ascend, and not only that, they’d have to take their time to grind stats in the Origin Realm.

Seth’s brows furrowed, not from the thought of the workload he’d have to carry, but because they simply wouldn’t have enough time for all that.

The president saw through this worry and sighed. "We have no choice. Even the mechas will need Awakened rank evolvers to stir, and even then I reckon the models’ production is yet complete."

Seth’s frown deepened. It really was a challenge. He did recall when Elder Ron told him that they would be done with the mech productions within the next two days.

Now knowing that they weren’t just crafting single models but dozens of each model, it was already impressive that they would finish production within that brief timespan.

Seth could just imagine the sheer amount of resources and manpower mobilized for this project.

This just meant, give or take, he had only two days to not only assist all the new bloods to ascend, but he still had to make sure they met the physical requirements needed to stir the Gordon 342 battle suits.

Seth pondered in silence, calculating various means he could use to reach the desired paths.

But no matter how he considered it, he couldn’t find a possible solution. It just wasn’t feasible, at least within that time span.

One had to understand that he would have to assist all delegated Sword Division soldiers to ascend, to make sure they landed in the Savage Oasis.

Based on the sheer number of individuals, even if Seth wanted to completely rely on his monstrous mental recovery span, it would still need about a day and a half to sort through all the soldiers.

And that was if they had all fully maxed their stats. After that, the remaining time window would be too little for them to grind through beasts to farm the required stats.

And even if he focused on the 140 evolvers from his division first, they still wouldn’t be able to reach the goal of 100 stat points across all attributes within two days.

The only way he could make this happen was if...

A spark suddenly ignited in the depths of Seth’s eyes as he thought of something.

The mental process of an Awakened rank evolver like Seth was so fast, the total amount of seconds he used to process all this barely grazed the three‑second mark.

Meaning the wait of silence wasn’t long in the perspective of the others. But of course, President Cain caught the sudden glint behind Seth’s gaze.

The president grinned, letting out a relieved sigh. For a moment he almost considered the possibility of delaying the Seven Sword Divisions’ mobilization further.

But it seemed he wouldn’t have to worry. Remaining silent, he patiently observed Seth, waiting for his revelation.

Back on Seth’s end, he pondered the possibility of the idea he just had. And he considered the toll he would have to suffer.

But in the end, it was all for the sake of winning this war. It would be worth it, right?

Plus, with his new gene skill and the perks benefitted from the World Saint title, he should be able to handle it.

Letting out a determined sigh, he looked up at the president. "Engineer Ron said the mechas would be completed within the span of three days... will that production batch be enough for the six divisions?"

The president nodded. "The hardest phase of the mech crafting was deciphering the texts. But now that all the blueprints have been secured, we had long made arrangements for 120 batches of each of the models. So naturally the divisions will have enough. As for the remnant, we can assign them to your division if you want."

Seth shook his head, rejecting the offer instantly. There was a reason each team would be assigned a model.

From the 3D blueprints alone, Seth could spot the vast difference between each model, each carrying different functions, height, and specialty.

That would have been fine, but this team of theirs was just too inexperienced and new to all this. Seth could already imagine the future headache he would have in trying to organize them during battle.

But if their gears were so vastly different, it would be even worse. It might cause chaos during battle, and what was meant to be a synchronized whole would crumble into a chaotic mess.

They had to take things slow. So for now he preferred the Gordon 342 battle suit. That way, implementing mass battle formations shouldn’t be as difficult.

"Since production should be done within two days, I might be able to help my division meet the requirements, though I am uncertain..."

The president nodded. At this point he’d take whatever he could. Delaying much would cause questions to be asked.

And even the enemy, after not seeing their full forces for a while, would begin to grow cautious.

So even if Seth’s means was uncertain, it was the best bet they had. The divisions had to be deployed quickly by any means.

"Good, I will leave it to you then. Be sure to update me, so I can know if we will still have to extend the waiting period in the end."

Seth nodded. He was sure it wouldn’t come to that, but he couldn’t give the president a 100% assurance...

Because the method he thought of couldn’t be implemented by him alone.

Author’s Note:

Guys, I just realized I made a mistake in the previous Chapter 271. The correct count should be six mecha models and seven divisions — instead, I mistakenly wrote seven mecha models and eight divisions. Sorry for the inconvenience! It’s been corrected, so feel free to reread for clarity.

Anyway, thank you so much for the support — I truly appreciate it!
